This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +16 more states.
• Achieve individual sales targets and drive revenue, primarily through the authorized distributor network.
• Cultivate and sustain relationships with distributors, OEMs, system integrators, end-users, technology partners, and engineering firms.
• Employ a consultative sales strategy to enhance customer satisfaction with products and services.
• Showcase product advantages and basic technical functionalities, influencing potential customers during system design and manufacturing.
• Develop a sales pipeline, engage with customers, and explore new business opportunities focusing on products within the Rockwell Automation ecosystem.
• Identify and pursue fresh market opportunities, customers, and applications for core technologies.
• Formulate and implement regional sales strategies that align with the company’s growth objectives.
• Maintain an up-to-date understanding of products, markets, and competitive positioning.
• Provide customer quotes, gather sales forecasts, follow up on leads, and manage the opportunity pipeline in the CRM.
• Represent the company at trade shows and events.
• Collaborate effectively with marketing, operations, product management, and sales team members.
• Operate efficiently in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
• Undertake additional tasks and responsibilities as required.
• Preferred BA or BS degree in business, engineering, or a related field.
• Over 5 years of sales experience in industrial or technical markets.
• Familiarity with the Rockwell Automation ecosystem.
• Demonstrated success in surpassing sales targets.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Experience managing intricate, solution-oriented sales cycles.
• Proficient in delivering sales presentations and crafting strategic account plans.
• Capability to work autonomously in territory and account management.
• Effective work habits in a home office or remote setting.
• Must reside in the Western region of the USA or Canada.
• Willingness to travel as necessary (approximately 30% of the time).
• General computer skills utilizing corporate systems and Microsoft suite products.
• Experience with Salesforce and CRM systems.
