This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alaska, +8 more states.
• Recruit, onboard, and nurture independent health and life insurance agents within a designated territory.
• Provide education to agents regarding Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplement, Prescription Drug Plans, Ancillary Health, and Life Insurance products.
• Foster and sustain agent relationships through consistent outreach, virtual meetings, and face-to-face visits.
• Address incoming agent inquiries related to support, products, and sales assistance.
• Conduct outbound calls and follow up on leads and business development prospects.
• Assist agents in recognizing sales opportunities and overcoming obstacles to finalize business deals.
• Propel territory growth through initiatives focused on agent activation, retention, and production.
• Coordinate field representative support when additional in-market assistance is required.
• Deliver training on products, enrollment procedures, compliance standards, and sales best practices.
• Monitor territory performance and formulate action plans to meet sales and renewal objectives.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, operations, and product teams to address agent issues and enhance outcomes.
• Keep accurate records of agent interactions, sales activities, and pipeline management in company systems.
• Remain informed about Medicare regulations, market trends, competitive offerings, and product updates.
• Bachelor's degree or a relevant combination of education and experience.
• Must be available to work from 9am to 5pm PST.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in insurance sales, channel management, agent distribution, broker support, or related sales roles.
• Experience in supporting Medicare, health insurance, life insurance, or ancillary product distribution channels.
• Strong skills in relationship-building, presentation, and communication.
• Proven ability to influence and engage independent agents and broker partners.
• Experience in managing a territory and achieving sales targets.
• Capability to work independently and make informed business decisions with minimal oversight.
• Proficient in CRM systems, Microsoft Office products, and virtual meeting platforms.
• Willingness to travel throughout the assigned territory as necessary.
• Active Health and Life Insurance license or the ability to obtain one upon hiring.
• Experience in recruiting, onboarding, and developing independent insurance agents.
• Knowledge of broker distribution models and best practices in channel management.
• Experience working remotely and managing a large geographic territory.
• Bilingual skills are advantageous.
• Minimum home internet download speed of 25 Mbps and upload speed of 10 Mbps.
