This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +7 more states.
• Direct a regional sales team to enhance business growth and strengthen customer relationships.
• Develop and implement regional business strategies to achieve sustainable growth and fulfill financial objectives.
• Recruit, mentor, and nurture account managers to build high-performing, customer-oriented teams.
• Oversee key account strategies and engagement with major clients, integrated delivery networks, and payers.
• Collaborate with marketing, medical affairs, market access, and operations on product launches and ongoing commercial initiatives.
• Leverage commercial insights and data to prioritize territory activities, forecast performance, and enhance customer access.
• Act as the representative for the region to senior leadership.
• Manage the execution of regional initiatives and budgets.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, life sciences, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in pharmaceutical or biotech sales.
• Proven experience in leading field-based or regional sales teams.
• Strong track record of meeting or surpassing sales targets in complex customer environments.
• Willingness to travel regionally, including overnight trips as necessary.
• Must reside within the designated Central U.S. territory: Kansas, Missouri, Arkansas, portions of Tennessee and Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, portions of Iowa, or Alabama.
• Ideally, candidates should live near a major airport.
• Experience with specialty or hospital account teams is preferred.
• Background in working with payers, specialty pharmacy, or market access is advantageous.
• Demonstrated success in leading product launches or significant commercial initiatives.
• Strong coaching abilities with experience in talent development and recruitment.
• Proficiency in using CRM and analytics tools to inform decision-making.
