This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Oversee CRM sales of Abbott products and/or services within the designated region.
• Assess and identify market opportunities and sales potential.
• Set and meet sales and clinical objectives.
• Guide and mentor territory managers and clinical specialists.
• Fulfill authorization training requirements to aid CRM procedures and provide clinical guidance.
• Assist in contract negotiations, customer engagement, performance management, and development of clinical competencies.
• Promote ongoing education and provide high-quality customer support.
• Establish regional sales strategies that align with franchise objectives.
• Support and execute the regional sales plan.
• Foster a safe learning environment and cultivate a positive team culture.
• Conduct weekly team calls, discovery workshops, regional meetings, and one-on-one discussions.
• Recruit, onboard, mentor, and develop direct reports.
• Manage goal-setting, development plans, and annual performance evaluations.
• Propel customer and account engagement planning.
• Prepare regional sales forecasts and estimates for CRM sales expenses.
• Ensure accountability in sales through precise forecasting.
• Travel with the team to meet customers and enhance clinical competencies and sales efforts.
• Build collaborative partnerships across marketing, training, enterprise accounts, and clinical trial teams.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Provide case support, plan proctoring, and resolve conflicts.
• Manage the annual regional budget and authorize expense reports for direct reports.
• Complete vendor credentialing for access to hospitals.
• Stay updated on regulatory requirements, company products, markets, objectives, and industry trends.
• Troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and implement preventative measures.
• Mentor staff and develop strategies for complex challenges affecting budgets or organizational commitments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
• 8+ years of progressively responsible experience in Tachycardia/Bradycardia product areas or a similar discipline.
• Preferred direct experience in CRM product sales.
• Demonstrated sales and clinical performance in the cardiology/cardiovascular sector.
• Capability to lead workstreams and initiatives utilizing critical thinking skills.
• Proficiency in directing and monitoring the clinical and sales objectives, quality, outcomes, and performance measures of direct reports.
• Experience in a quality system environment.
• Solutions-oriented with a focus on factual problem-solving.
• Compliance with vendor credentialing requirements, potentially including COVID-19 vaccination.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Previous experience in commercial and clinical trials in cardiology/cardiovascular preferred.
• Documented success in leading sales and clinical teams preferred.
• Experience with Abbott cardiovascular products is highly regarded.
