Regional Sales Director

📋 Description

• Lead and inspire a dynamic team of Strategic Account Managers and Virology Care Specialists.

• Formulate and implement regional business strategies while establishing a vision for success.

• Responsibly promote Invivyd products to targeted healthcare providers and academic institutions.

• Foster a high-performance coaching culture that nurtures talent and drives results.

• Execute sales strategies to meet revenue and growth goals in a compliant manner.

• Collaborate with key accounts, healthcare providers, and academic centers to enhance and retain business.

• Provide field coaching that includes real-time feedback, skill enhancement, and guidance.

• Advocate for growth and career advancement through training and ongoing learning opportunities.

• Serve as the local liaison between the Sales team and other corporate departments.

• Oversee financial and field-staff resources along with area expense budgets.

• Stimulate demand while ensuring alignment with long-term sales and profit goals.

• Enhance team performance through team building, coaching, strategic planning, training, motivation, and management.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) from an accredited institution; a Master’s degree is preferred.

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in the biopharma, medical device, or healthcare sectors.

• At least 5 years of experience managing high-performing teams in the life sciences sector.

• Must possess a current, valid state driver's license and successfully complete a motor vehicle record (MVR) background check.

• Diverse experience and familiarity with reimbursement, buy-and-bill processes, specialty pharmacies, IDNs, and federal channels.

• Availability to be in the field four full days per week; willingness to travel by car and airplane as needed.

• Strong understanding and experience with the laws, regulations, and industry codes that govern appropriate interactions with healthcare professionals and organizations.

• A proven track record of successfully leading a pharmaceutical sales team is highly preferred.

• Comprehensive understanding of the healthcare landscape and payer dynamics.

• Exceptional leadership, coaching, and recruitment abilities.

• Strong presentation and communication skills.

• Capacity to adapt to changing market conditions.

• Commitment to driving continuous improvement.
