Regional Sales Director

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create and implement a thorough territory strategy to optimize revenue and growth for Hazelcast.

• Adhere to Hazelcast’s sales methodologies, processes, account development strategies, territory management, and prospecting techniques.

• Enhance revenue and expand Hazelcast’s market presence within the designated territory.

• Collaborate with Hazelcast's sales, Business Development, and Marketing teams to carry out the territory strategy.

• Achieve and surpass the assigned sales quotas.

• Conduct sales within the assigned region and negotiate pricing according to established company policies.

• Identify, evaluate, and secure new customers and opportunities.

• Manage prospective customer relationships through the sales cycle from prospecting to post-sales customer success.

• Align technical solutions with business value and effectively communicate their advantages across various enterprise levels.

• Leverage existing customer relationships to ensure renewals and identify or close expansion opportunities.

• Establish connections with key decision-makers and drive deals to completion.

• Assess and convert opportunities into sales while maintaining an accurate forecast in Salesforce CRM.

• Develop and oversee multiple deals while prioritizing pipeline growth.

• Provide precise sales forecasts and activity/project reports to Sales Management.

• Coordinate daily with Marketing and CSR to enhance process efficiency.

• Collaborate with Marketing on regional events and campaigns.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent relevant work experience.

• 5 years of pertinent software sales experience.

• Strong territory development and prospecting skills, complemented by effective closing abilities.

• Proficient in planning and executing sales meetings to facilitate timely completion of the sales process.

• A robust commitment to sales process excellence and the perseverance to execute consistently.

• Ability to engage with all levels of an organization, showcasing strong interpersonal communication skills.

• A team-oriented individual with an entrepreneurial mindset.

• Proven success in effective communication via telephone and email with customers, along with a successful track record of meeting or exceeding quotas.

• A key contributor both individually and as a team member, providing guidance and mentorship to others.

• Willingness to travel is necessary.
