This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Oversee CRM sales management for Abbott products and services within the designated region
• Assess and analyze market opportunities and sales potential
• Set and accomplish sales and clinical objectives
• Mentor and guide territory managers and clinical specialists
• Complete authorization training to facilitate CRM processes and deliver clinical coaching
• Contribute to and fulfill the regional sales strategy
• Recruit, onboard, mentor, and develop direct reports to enhance sales and clinical performance
• Establish quarterly objectives, developmental plans, and conduct annual performance evaluations
• Promote customer and account engagement planning
• Generate regional sales forecasts and CRM sales expense projections
• Ensure sales accountability through precise forecasting
• Travel with the team to engage with customers and support clinical skills and sales growth
• Cultivate cross-functional collaborations with marketing, training, enterprise accounts, and clinical trial teams
• Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures
• Provide assistance with case support, proctor planning, and conflict resolution
• Manage the annual regional budget and approve expense reports for direct reports
• Complete vendor credentialing for hospital access as necessary
• Stay informed on products, markets, regulatory requirements, and industry trends
• Address complex issues and devise innovative solutions
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or equivalent
• Over 8 years of increasingly responsible work experience in Tachycardia/Bradycardia product fields or a related area
• Prior direct experience in CRM product sales is preferred
• Proven and documented success in sales and clinical performance in the cardiology/cardiovascular sector
• Capability to lead workstreams and initiatives using critical thinking skills
• Ability to guide and assess the progress of direct reports in achieving clinical and sales objectives, quality, outcomes, and performance metrics
• Competency to operate within a quality system environment
• Solutions-oriented approach with a focus on fact-based problem-solving
• Verification of compliance with vendor credentialing requirements, which may include COVID-19 vaccination
• A Master’s degree is preferred
• Previous commercial and clinical trial experience in cardiology/cardiovascular is preferred
• Documented success in leading sales and clinical teams is preferred
• Strong preference for candidates with experience in Abbott cardiovascular products
