This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in China.
• Act as a representative for Kingston University, collaborating closely with its International Recruitment Office.
• Assist in recruitment and conversion efforts throughout the entire student recruitment process.
• Engage in both online and in-person recruitment and outreach events catering to prospective students, parents, and counselors.
• Identify and execute strategies to enhance and expand international institutional collaborations in designated regions of China.
• Deliver accurate information and guidance to prospective students and education agents.
• Provide student counseling and follow up on offer acceptance, document requirements, and admission-related matters.
• Respond to inquiries and guide prospective students throughout their application journey.
• Utilize the CRM system to target and nurture assigned leads and applicants.
• Cultivate relationships with stakeholders in China's education sector.
• Represent the university at education events, trade shows, conferences, webinars, and virtual events.
• Participate in social media initiatives and online training.
• Support both online and offline events, information sessions, localized content creation, and promotional activities.
• Maintain databases and perform post-event follow-ups.
• Compile data on interested students and prepare activity outcome reports for the university.
• Coordinate with internal teams on administrative matters.
• Conduct market research, gather intelligence, manage information, update databases, and assist with presentations and events.
• Manage activities within budget and track project expenses.
• Maintain communications with stakeholders and keep current market information updated.
• Develop and sustain key contact lists.
• Document recruitment events, campaigns, project progress, and interactions with leads and applicants in the CRM.
• Submit reports according to established requirements.
• Hold a first degree or equivalent qualification.
• Experience in student recruitment or a related field.
• Capability to perform under pressure and foster relationships across all levels of the organization.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
• High proficiency in English with exceptional written, oral communication, and presentation abilities.
• Keen attention to detail.
• Proficient in IT, particularly with Microsoft Office applications: Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Understanding of the China Higher Education system.
• Collaborative working approach.
• Ability to manage substantial workloads, adhere to deadlines, and resolve work-related issues.
• Willingness to work outside regular office hours and/or on weekends.
• Expected to travel frequently due to event participation.
• Demonstrated flexibility, adaptability, self-initiative, and team collaboration skills.
• Legal authorization to work full-time in China.
• Relevant postgraduate or professional qualifications in business or marketing are advantageous.
• Qualifications from the UK or familiarity with the UK education system are preferred.
• Previous overseas study or living experience is a plus.
• Experience in developing marketing campaigns and utilizing social media as a communication tool is desirable.
• Understanding of higher education and issues pertinent to students considering overseas study is beneficial.
• Strong planning skills for strategic and tactical initiatives are advantageous.
