This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland, +1 more country.
• Assist Solva Business Development and regional sales by qualifying integrated manufacturing opportunities.
• Lead or support customer Discovery and Assessment initiatives that encompass capability, capacity, process efficiency, operational constraints, service needs, risks, and business opportunities.
• Convert customer challenges into well-structured opportunity definitions, value hypotheses, assessment scopes, and proposal contributions.
• Create and evaluate budgetary technical proposals, business cases, assumptions, risks, KPIs, and value propositions.
• Aid in the development of Statements of Work, commercial negotiations, staged deliverables, customer alignment, and the transition to delivery execution.
• Direct and oversee complex Solva project delivery throughout the phases of Discovery, Assessment, Proposal, Agreement, Execution, Partnership, and Support.
• Ensure high execution quality, maintain customer communications, track actions, monitor milestones, manage risks, escalate issues, and evaluate delivery performance.
• Guarantee measurable outcomes in productivity, cost per part, quality, process stability, capacity, sustainability, and long-term supportability.
• Coordinate efforts among the Innovation Hub, application engineering, machining specialists, partners, suppliers, and local Seco teams.
• Mentor local Technical Sales Engineers, Account Managers, and Application Engineers on Solva tools and post-handover responsibilities.
• Ensure structured closure, capture lessons learned, document case studies, and facilitate handover to the local Seco organization.
• Disseminate Solva knowledge and advocate for the consistent use of tools, templates, governance, reporting standards, and customer communication practices.
• Represent Solva as a senior project leader in customer-facing roles, supporting customer reviews, business reviews, steering meetings, and strategic account discussions.
• Maintain oversight of regional project status, risks, workload, pipeline readiness, delivery capacity, and customer impact.
• Manage project tracking, action logs, dashboards, project documentation standards, and performance reporting.
• Promote safe working practices and ensure adherence to customer requirements, Seco procedures, the Sandvik Code of Conduct, legal obligations, quality standards, and environmental responsibilities.
• Proven project leadership skills, including cross-functional coordination, stakeholder alignment, action management, and structured handover processes.
• Established ability to navigate the complete Solva lifecycle from Discovery and Assessment to Proposal, Agreement, Execution, Partnership, Support, and handover.
• Extensive knowledge in manufacturing engineering, particularly in machining, tooling, programming, process optimization, cost per part, OEE, quality, and production stability.
• Advanced skills in project governance, risk management, customer communication, action tracking, reporting, prioritization, resource coordination, and escalation management.
• Capacity to influence senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams without direct authority, manage conflicts, and align team members towards customer and business objectives.
• Strong digital proficiency, data analysis capability, commercial awareness, innovative thinking, and confidence in using CRM, project tracking tools, dashboards, and Microsoft 365.
• Proficient in written and spoken English; additional regional languages are a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing, business, project management, or a related technical or commercial discipline, or equivalent relevant industry and leadership experience.
• Over 10 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, technical project leadership, business development support, industrial solutions, application engineering, or a similar customer-facing technical role.
• Demonstrated experience in leading complex customer projects and coordinating cross-functional technical contributors without direct management responsibility.
• Significant experience in machining process improvement, tooling strategy, production engineering, CAD/CAM, fixtures, partner coordination, or manufacturing optimization.
• Background in value-based, consultative, or solution-selling contexts, connecting technical recommendations to quantifiable business results.
• Experience collaborating with regional or global teams, customers, suppliers, and strategic partners.
• Proficient in Microsoft 365, CRM systems, project tracking software, reporting dashboards, proposal writing, and structured project documentation.
• Fluent in English and possess a valid passport with readiness and capability to travel regionally and internationally; additional languages are advantageous.
