This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Recruit, onboard, assess, and mentor members of the professional development network.
• Travel as necessary to observe and conduct professional development sessions for support and quality assurance.
• Act as a subject matter expert for various professional development sessions and topics.
• Collaborate with PD Operations, Hub membership teams, state-specific initiatives, and other departments on special professional development projects and initiatives.
• Assist in the development and management of operational policies and procedures for professional development.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of professional development content and delivery through content reviews, observations, competency assessments, and analysis of evaluations, customer feedback, trainer self-evaluations, and planning forms.
• Design and facilitate professional development opportunities for the professional development network.
• Work with the PD content team to tailor sessions to meet specific needs.
• Ensure that pre- and post-session documentation complies with professional development standards aligned with learning objectives and quality training practices.
• Oversee quality assurance and proactively identify and resolve issues.
• Address daily issues and concerns faced by members of the professional development network.
• Attend to customer and internal team inquiries related to professional development sessions.
• Must be available and willing to travel up to 50% of the time, particularly in August and September.
• Bachelor's degree in early childhood education or a related field; a master's degree is preferred.
• Familiarity with Teaching Strategies solutions.
• At least five years of experience in management, coaching educators, and providing professional development for adult learners in both virtual and in-person settings.
• Proven experience in establishing and communicating performance and quality metrics that align with organizational goals.
• Self-motivated with a strong drive for success.
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrates responsibility for work and possesses a strong sense of project and work management.
• Capable of researching, listening, and identifying client needs based on assessment discussions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong project management abilities.
• Willingness to learn new technology applications.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Zoom, and virtual training for adults is required.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
