This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Develop and implement a work plan to manage collaborative spaces between educators and civil society organizations.

• Create opportunities for participation to build consensus on recommendations and roadmaps for the critical, relevant, and pertinent integration of technologies in education.

• Review content and pedagogical approaches of teacher training processes related to the integration of AI in teaching.

• Strengthen governance and participation of Latin American members in the Teacher Task Force.

• Act as a point of contact for groups focused on ECCE, equity and inclusion, crisis contexts, AI, and school leadership.

• Prepare the year-end review report.

• Assist in developing the TTF Work Plan for 2027.

• Support the selection of new representatives for the Steering Committee and regional representatives from Latin America and the Caribbean.

• Collaborate with UNESCO subregional offices to enhance the relevance of the TTF in the region.

• Coordinate the participation of TTF members and strategic partners from ALC in the XV Teacher Policy Dialogue Forum.

• Assist in developing the program and content for the Forum sessions.

• Facilitate the participation of countries and organizations from ALC by coordinating invitations, contributions, and best practices.

• Coordinate contributions from thematic groups and governing bodies of the TTF.

• Document and follow up on the Forum through reports, key message summaries, recommendations, and lessons learned.

• Deliver monthly reports, work plans, and feedback documents.


⛳️ Requirements

• Professional degree, with a master's or doctoral level of education in education, pedagogy, social sciences, economics, technologies, and other fields related to consulting.

• At least 5 years of experience in managing multi-stakeholder spaces in education, preferably related to teacher professional development.

• Experience in designing and facilitating consultation processes for publications, including gathering opinions, perspectives, experiences, practices, or validating content and methodologies.

• Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in researching, analyzing, and/or evaluating policies, programs, or initiatives related to teacher professional development in Latin America and the Caribbean.

• At least 3 years of experience in designing, implementing, or reviewing teacher training processes on technologies.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience coordinating education initiatives, programs, or projects in Colombia, preferably linked to teacher training in technologies.

• Excellent written and oral proficiency in Spanish or native Spanish speaker.

• Excellent written and oral proficiency in English.

• Strong writing, interpersonal communication, and teamwork skills.

• Critical, pluralistic, systemic, and innovative thinking.

• Results-oriented and problem-solving approach.

• Planning and organizational skills.

• Willingness to share and disseminate knowledge, as well as to embrace a culture of learning and continuous improvement.

• Updated CV with three references, motivation letter, and technical and financial proposal.
