This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Iowa, +3 more states.
• Implement regional product strategies that align with yearly sales and market share goals.
• Discover product growth potential across designated territories and customer segments.
• Assist with the introduction of new products and lifecycle initiatives.
• Gather Voice of Customer insights to relay to Product Management and Engineering.
• Spot emerging customer applications and industry trends.
• Enhance dealer product knowledge through classroom sessions, field coaching, and demonstration training.
• Participate in ride-alongs with dealer sales staff to boost selling efficiency and application understanding.
• Mentor dealer teams on value-based selling, competitive positioning, and ROI-focused selling.
• Help dealers create product-centered retail sales strategies.
• Plan and carry out product demonstrations for dealers, customers, and national accounts.
• Assist in customer field evaluations, machine comparisons, and application suggestions.
• Inform customers about machine performance, productivity, attachment usage, and operational best practices.
• Represent Takeuchi at trade shows, customer events, open houses, and demonstrations.
• Aid National Account Managers with fleet demonstrations and product assessments.
• Support regional rental organizations and strategic clients with product recommendations.
• Cultivate relationships with key contractors, rental organizations, and industry influencers.
• Provide product expertise during significant account presentations.
• Collaborate with Product Management to identify product enhancements and future development opportunities.
• Work with Marketing on product launches and promotional campaigns.
• Assist Training in formulating dealer education programs.
• Align product initiatives with dealer business strategies in conjunction with Regional Business Managers and Dealer Development Managers.
• Monitor competitor products, pricing strategies, promotions, and product launches.
• Deliver competitive intelligence and market insights.
• Analyze customer trends and regional application possibilities.
• Provide regular updates on product performance, market conditions, and competitive activities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Agriculture, or a related field preferred; equivalent industry experience will be considered.
• Over 5 years of experience in product management, equipment sales, dealer development, or construction equipment distribution.
• Strong understanding of construction equipment applications, attachments, and customer workflows.
• Experience in conducting professional equipment demonstrations and customer presentations.
• Working knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and machine technology.
• Proven capability to influence dealer organizations without direct authority.
• Outstanding presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Strong analytical skills and strategic problem-solving capabilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM platforms, and business reporting tools.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Willingness to travel extensively (approximately 70–80%).
