Regional Operations Manager – Process Server Network

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Take charge of maintaining the supply and demand equilibrium in Arizona and Texas.

• Identify gaps in coverage, recruit process servers, develop dispatch strategies, and enhance server capacity.

• Recognize performance issues early and determine their root causes.

• Foster relationships with the region's top-volume process servers.

• Lead response efforts during app outages, dispatch delays, and weather-related disruptions.

• Conduct marketplace pilots, monitor outcomes, and share findings with project managers.

• Oversee the regional incentive budget and identify instances of overspending.

• Provide reports on the closure of coverage gaps, achievement of service levels, and overall market health.

• Directly manage W2 employees, including the approval of timecards and conducting performance evaluations.

• Incorporate regional insights into incentive structures, dispatch guidelines, and compensation frameworks across different markets.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience managing a local market, territory, or region in a marketplace, gig, or field-operations setting.

• Demonstrated ability to balance supply and demand utilizing in-market observations and self-gathered data.

• Experience in coaching individuals in frontline or contract positions to enhance performance.

• Proven track record in managing full-time (W2) employees, including overseeing timecards and conducting performance evaluations.

• Willingness to conduct experiments, iterate swiftly, and scale successful strategies.

• Prepared to work on-site in the market; this role does not offer a remote strategy position.

• A self-motivated data-driven mindset with the capability to interpret dispatch or service-level dashboards.

• Comfortable collaborating with project managers on in-market projects.

• Minimum of one direct report with specific experience in coaching.

• Strong written communication skills.

• Preferred: experience in executing structured pilots and scaling outcomes.

• Preferred: proficiency in SQL or familiarity with dashboards such as Metabase, Looker, or similar tools.

• Preferred: comfort with tools like Jira or similar platforms and Intercom or similar applications.

• Preferred: experience thriving in ambiguous environments.

• Preferred: experience in coaching contract or hourly employees.
