Regional Operations Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Oversee Branch Managers through coaching, training, and guidance

• Ensure that branch sales, customer service, profitability, and asset-management objectives are achieved

• Assist in the recruitment, training, performance evaluation, and corrective action processes

• Guarantee adherence to company policies, safety standards, procedures, and work instructions

• Address customer issues, complaints, and transactions as needed

• Manage and monitor Branch Visit Guides and address any deficiencies

• Aid in inventory forecasting and ensure sufficient product stock

• Troubleshoot operational issues with DOM, Regional Manager, or corporate office

• Observe account sales and CRM performance

• Evaluate branch P&Ls and guide areas needing improvement

• Collaborate with Region and Territory Sales Managers to meet sales targets

• Serve as a support resource for sales initiatives

• Develop branch staffing and talent pipelines in conjunction with the HR Business Partner

• Engage in the Branch Manager Training program

• Ensure that employees complete required training for their roles

• Coordinate training efforts with the corporate office, HR, and company trainers

• Facilitate branch openings, closings, relocations, and layout planning

• Conduct evaluations of real estate buildings and locations

• Undertake additional projects and responsibilities to meet business needs

• Report to the Division Operations Director

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent educational background

• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities

• Capability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

• Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment

• Knowledge of products and understanding of the HVAC sector

• Strong leadership and management competencies

• Proficient in computer applications, including AS400 and Microsoft Office

• General understanding of HVAC wholesale operations

• Familiarity with warehousing, inventory management, and facility lease agreements

• Comprehensive understanding of sales P&Ls

• Strong work ethic and integrity

• Ability to perform essential responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodations
