Regional Operational Excellence Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with regional and site leaders, as well as functional stakeholders, to formulate and implement a regional Operational Excellence strategy and improvement roadmap.

• Identify and prioritize high-impact opportunities while balancing available resources, timelines, and strategic priorities.

• Persuade senior leaders to embrace and reinforce Operational Excellence systems, behaviors, and decision-making disciplines.

• Lead Black Belt-level cross-functional and cross-site projects that address operational, quality, and cost challenges.

• Conduct advanced problem-solving utilizing Lean Six Sigma, statistical analysis, and structured improvement tools.

• Ensure thorough financial validation of projects and collaborate with Finance to verify baselines, projected benefits, and post-implementation outcomes.

• Establish and maintain operating systems, standard work, visual management, and performance routines across various sites.

• Remove obstacles to expedite project execution and sustainment.

• Mentor leaders, project teams, and frontline employees in the principles, tools, and methods of Operational Excellence.

• Develop and deliver training programs in Lean fundamentals, Six Sigma, root cause analysis, daily management, and structured problem-solving.

• Coach and mentor Green Belts, project leaders, and aspiring Black Belts; oversee certification processes and capability development.

• Integrate continuous improvement and data-driven decision-making throughout the region.

• Provide leadership with insights into regional Operational Excellence performance, pipeline health, ROI, risks, and mitigation strategies.

• Ensure compliance with Operational Excellence standards, project management disciplines, and governance frameworks across all sites.

⛳️ Requirements

• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification.

• Over 7 years of experience in leading operational excellence, Lean, or continuous improvement within a manufacturing, supply chain, or production environment.

• Proven success in leading Black Belt-level initiatives with quantifiable financial impact.

• Strong capabilities in coaching, facilitation, influence, and change leadership.

• Demonstrated ability to drive cultural transformation and sustain long-term behavioral changes.

• Willingness to travel up to 50% for this role.
