Regional Medical Scientific Director – Gynecologic Malignancies

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +5 more locations.

📋 Description

• Establish and nurture professional relationships with national and regional Scientific Leaders.

• Deliver company-sanctioned medical and scientific information regarding therapeutic areas and Company products.

• Engage in peer-to-peer scientific discussions while maintaining reliable communication with Scientific Leaders.

• Respond to scientific inquiries and direct unrelated questions to the appropriate company resources.

• Stay informed about the scientific and clinical landscape within the assigned therapeutic area.

• Initiate discussions on scientific data exchange with Scientific Leaders and potential investigators.

• Evaluate alignment with research strategies, study concepts, scientific validity, and qualifications for compounds or trials.

• Enhance comprehension of investigator-sponsored research foundations and their objectives.

• Recognize obstacles to patient enrollment and retention.

• Suggest study sites and pinpoint potential investigators for Phase II-IV clinical development programs.

• Conduct Site Initiation Visits.

• Collaborate with Global Clinical Trial Operations to support protocol leadership.

• Address inquiries from investigators and provide information regarding Company-sponsored clinical studies.

• Participate in scientific congresses and medical meetings to facilitate data exchange between the Company and competitors.

• Collect feedback and insights on the medical or scientific needs, priorities, and concerns of Scientific Leaders and patients.

• Foster an inclusive environment and act as a role model for creating, leading, and retaining the workforce.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of a PhD, PharmD, DNP, DO, or MD.

• At least 3 years of relevant therapeutic area experience beyond that acquired during the terminal degree program.

• Capability to engage in doctoral-level discussions with key external stakeholders.

• Commitment to scientific excellence with a strong emphasis on scientific education and dialogue.

• Exceptional stakeholder management, communication, and networking abilities.

• Comprehensive understanding of FDA, OIG, HIPAA, and other ethical guidelines, laws, and regulations pertinent to the pharmaceutical industry and its clients.

• Proficiency in organizing, prioritizing, and functioning effectively in a rapidly changing environment.

• Strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, OneNote).

• Familiarity with virtual meeting platforms.

• A desire to contribute to a culture of belonging and empowerment.

• Consistent compliance with field and corporate policies and Global Medical Scientific Affairs strategy, including field SOPs, GCP guidelines, and administrative/operational duties.

• Candidates must be located within the territory covering IL, MO, AR, TN, and KY.

• Willingness to travel up to 50% within the territory.

• A valid driving license is required.

• Preferred: field-based medical experience, with a strong preference for GYN Oncology experience.

• Preferred: research experience.

• Preferred: a proven record of scientific/medical publications.
