Regional Medical Scientific Director – Gynecologic Malignancies

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oklahoma, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Engage in a two-way exchange of scientific or medical information with Scientific Leaders.

• Provide impartial and factual scientific information regarding non-product areas and address scientific inquiries about Company products.

• Cultivate professional relationships with national and regional Scientific Leaders.

• Facilitate peer-to-peer scientific discussions and maintain a dependable medical connection with Scientific Leaders.

• Respond to scientific inquiries and guide out-of-scope questions to the appropriate company resources.

• Keep up-to-date with knowledge in the scientific and clinical landscape within the assigned therapeutic area.

• Initiate exchanges of scientific and data with potential investigators to evaluate research alignment, study concepts, scientific merit, and qualifications.

• Expand understanding of investigator-sponsored research foundations and objectives.

• Identify obstacles to patient enrollment and retention.

• Suggest study sites and potential investigators for Phase II-IV clinical development programs.

• Conduct Site Initiation Visits and assist protocol leadership with GCTO.

• Address inquiries from investigators and provide information related to Company-sponsored clinical studies.

• Participate in scientific congresses and medical meetings to facilitate scientific and data exchange.

• Collect feedback and insights regarding the medical or scientific needs, priorities, and concerns of Scientific Leaders and patients.

• Act as a role model and assist in onboarding while sharing therapeutic expertise.

• Contribute to a diverse environment and support the execution of organizational and business strategies.

⛳️ Requirements

• PhD, PharmD, DNP, DO, or MD.

• At least 3 years of relevant therapeutic area experience beyond what was obtained in the terminal degree program.

• Capability to engage in doctoral-level discussions with key external stakeholders.

• Commitment to scientific excellence with a strong emphasis on scientific education and dialogue.

• Outstanding stakeholder management, communication, and networking skills.

• Comprehensive understanding of FDA, OIG, HIPAA, and other ethical guidelines, laws, and regulations pertinent to the pharmaceutical sector and its clientele.

• Proficiency in organizing, prioritizing, and working efficiently in a dynamic environment.

• Strong familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, OneNote).

• Knowledge of virtual meeting platforms.

• Consistent compliance with field and corporate policies, GMSA strategy, field SOPs, GCP guidelines, and administrative/operational responsibilities.

• Candidates should reside within the territory covering Texas and Oklahoma.

• Willingness to travel up to 50% within the territory.

• A valid driving license is required.

• No visa sponsorship available.

• Preferred: Field-based medical experience, particularly in GYN Oncology.

• Preferred: Research experience.

• Preferred: Proven record of scientific/medical publications.
