This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky, +2 more states.
• Participate in a two-way exchange of scientific and medical information with Scientific Leaders.
• Deliver balanced and factual scientific information regarding non-product areas and answer inquiries about company products.
• Establish and nurture professional relationships with both national and regional Scientific Leaders.
• Engage in peer-to-peer scientific discussions while ensuring consistent medical contact with Scientific Leaders.
• Tackle scientific inquiries and refer out-of-scope questions to the proper company resources.
• Stay updated on the scientific and clinical landscape within the therapeutic area.
• Initiate conversations with Scientific Leaders and potential investigators concerning research strategies, study ideas, scientific validity, and qualifications.
• Improve understanding of goals and foundations for investigator-sponsored research.
• Identify obstacles to patient enrollment and retention.
• Suggest study sites and pinpoint potential investigators for Phase II–IV clinical development initiatives.
• Conduct Site Initiation Visits and assist protocol leadership with GCTO.
• Respond to investigator inquiries and provide insights regarding company-sponsored clinical studies.
• Participate in scientific congresses and medical meetings, facilitating the exchange of scientific data.
• Collect feedback and insights on the medical or scientific needs, priorities, and concerns of Scientific Leaders and patients.
• Act as a role model while supporting onboarding and the sharing of therapeutic expertise.
• Foster an environment of inclusivity and empowerment.
• PhD, PharmD, DNP, DO, or MD degree.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in the therapeutic area, beyond what was acquired in the terminal degree program.
• Capacity to engage in doctoral-level discussions with key external stakeholders.
• Commitment to scientific excellence with a strong emphasis on scientific education and dialogue.
• Exceptional stakeholder management, communication, and networking abilities.
• Comprehensive understanding of FDA, OIG, HIPAA, and other ethical guidelines, laws, and regulations pertinent to the pharmaceutical industry and its clientele.
• Ability to organize, prioritize, and function effectively in a dynamic environment.
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, OneNote).
• Familiarity with virtual meeting platforms.
• Consistent compliance with field and corporate policies, GMSA strategy, field SOPs, GCP guidelines, and administrative/operational duties.
• Candidates must reside in IN, KY, WV, or VA.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% within the territory.
• Valid driver's license.
• Visa sponsorship is not available.
• Preferred: field-based medical experience, especially in GYN Oncology.
• Preferred: research experience.
• Preferred: a proven history of scientific/medical publication.
