This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +2 more states.
• Establish, nurture, and enhance relationships with C-suite executives, Medical Directors, Practice Administrators, and other key decision-makers within Specialty GPOs, Health System GPOs, and large community oncology accounts.
• Propel contract success, ensure appropriate product utilization, foster account growth, and meet sales objectives.
• Spearhead strategic collaboration with cross-functional teams for GPOs and key accounts.
• Identify, categorize, and prioritize engagements while developing strategies for integrated networks.
• Recognize GPO capabilities, drivers, investments, and levels of influence.
• Pinpoint synergies among GPOs, key accounts, and internal teams.
• Discover GPO segment opportunities and relay strategies to field leadership.
• Cultivate relationships with Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs), key accounts, hospital GPOs, and other contacts within the hospital sector.
• Assist with distribution, service, and direct customer agreements.
• Collaborate with hospital GPO field teams both regionally and nationally to enhance sales.
• Employ selling techniques and marketing strategies to generate and increase national demand for promoted brands.
• Conduct corporate, account-specific, hospital-segment, and customer meetings.
• Adhere to OIG, Pharma, and corporate policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Provide timely feedback on marketplace trends, treatment dynamics, and the competitive landscape.
• Accurately and promptly complete expense reports and other administrative documentation.
• Participate in training programs, conventions, customer meetings, and symposia.
• Stay updated on oncology business and market trends.
• Support both internal and external customers.
• A Bachelor's degree is required.
• At least 6 years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or device industries.
• Experience in pharma, biotech, or device sectors is mandatory.
• A minimum of 3 years of successful and progressive experience working with Specialty GPO organizations, Managed Care Accounts, Sales, or related fields is essential.
• Practical knowledge of pharmaceutical marketing, including HCC regulations, is required.
• Experience in GPO strategy is essential.
• Proven ability to cultivate professional relationships with senior executives, C-suite stakeholders, key influencers, and decision-makers.
• Strong skills in networking, analysis, training, communication, presentation, and business acumen.
• Working knowledge of healthcare delivery consolidations and value-based oncology care.
• Familiarity with emerging oncology trends and patient care necessities.
• Ability to synthesize market data and effectively communicate insights.
• Comfort with clinical and complex information.
• Capability to develop customer-driven insights and identify underlying strategic issues.
• Ability to collaborate, manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and multitask effectively.
• Innovative, proactive, and adaptable interpersonal approach.
• Must be able to sit for extended periods at a desk.
• Ability to read and review large volumes of printed or online material.
• A degree or certification in Health Informatics or a related field is preferred.
• Experience in oncology or rare diseases is preferred.
• Marketing experience is preferred.
• Experience in oncology is preferred.
• Business travel is required during weekdays, weeknights, and weekends for customer visits, conferences, congresses, and advisory boards.
• This is a remote-based position.
