This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +2 more states.
• Build and nurture relationships with key C-suite executives and decision-makers.
• Identify, implement, and support business opportunities and strategies across group practices, hospital departments, community hospitals, and academic institutions.
• Engage key decision-makers to assess their needs, introduce pharmaceutical and service lines, and enhance partnerships.
• Serve as the voice of the customer, fostering long-term partnerships with key accounts.
• Create and execute strategies that encourage stakeholders to adopt pharmaceutical products.
• Cultivate C-suite, administrative, operational, and clinical champions within assigned accounts.
• Organize and lead business reviews with key decision-makers and administrative leaders.
• Provide corporate leadership with insights on market trends, competitive updates, and industry challenges.
• Advise accounts and internal partners on regulatory and process changes that impact account economics and product usage.
• Establish relationships with key opinion leaders and leverage connections with clinical experts.
• Execute cross-functional business plans and development strategies for targeted key accounts.
• Achieve business objectives and key performance metrics for assigned accounts.
• Incorporate customer insights into the organizational business planning process.
• Collaborate across functions with internal stakeholder teams.
• Implement and oversee assigned GPO contracts, programs, and services at the account level within the designated geography.
• Stay informed about healthcare policy, reform, managed care, reimbursement trends, marketplace economics, and industry developments.
• Bachelor's degree is required.
• At least 7 years of experience in the pharmaceutical sector (including biotech).
• Experience in pharmaceutical or medical sales is essential.
• Background in oncology or rare diseases is preferred.
• Proven ability to forge strong professional relationships with senior executives, C-suite stakeholders, and key decision-makers in community oncology practices and specialty GPOs.
• Proficient in networking.
• Demonstrated success as a medical sales professional.
• Capability to manage multiple projects and effectively prioritize/multi-task.
• Experience in translating group strategy into actionable tactics and campaigns.
• Strong analytical, training, communication, and presentation skills.
• Familiarity with healthcare delivery consolidations and value-based oncology care.
• Knowledge of emerging trends and patient care needs from an oncology perspective.
• Ability to synthesize market data sources and communicate effectively with GPO leaders.
• Comfort with clinical and complex information, along with the capability to generate customer-driven insights.
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.
• Innovative, proactive, and possesses strong analytical skills, complemented by excellent overall business acumen.
• Practical understanding of healthcare markets and protocols.
• Interpersonal adaptability to engage with a diverse range of personnel.
• Willingness to travel 60% or more, including weekdays, weeknights, and weekends.
• Overnight travel is required.
• Ability to remain seated for extended periods while reviewing substantial volumes of printed or online material.
• Business travel is required and supported for customer engagements, key conferences, congresses, and advisory boards.
• This is a remote-based position.
