This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the global medical affairs strategy and the tactical execution plan for cleminorexton.
• Act as the Global Medical Affairs Lead and a key member of the cross-functional asset team.
• Ensure alignment of the medical strategy with corporate goals, clinical development milestones, and commercialization plans.
• Develop long-term medical affairs planning for regulatory approvals, launch readiness, and lifecycle management.
• Identify emerging scientific opportunities, evidence gaps, and the needs of stakeholders.
• Direct medical launch preparedness activities across significant global markets.
• Create integrated launch strategies in collaboration with commercial, market access, HEOR, regulatory affairs, and regional medical teams.
• Align scientific platforms, training materials, medical information resources, publications, congress activities, and insights generation with strategy and launch timelines.
• Assist in pre-launch and launch planning, including global payer engagement strategies and value communication.
• Cultivate and sustain relationships with global key opinion leaders, investigators, professional societies, and patient advocacy organizations.
• Lead scientific advisory boards, expert consultations, and other initiatives to gather insights.
• Represent Centessa at major scientific congresses and industry events.
• Serve as a scientific ambassador and subject matter expert in orexin biology and sleep-wake disorders.
• Strategically partner with commercial, market access, HEOR, regulatory, clinical development, patient advocacy, and corporate affairs teams.
• Provide medical expertise to brand strategy, payer engagement, disease-state education, and scientific communication initiatives.
• Support the development of scientific platforms, publication strategies, educational programs, and medical training.
• Offer medical review and guidance for externally facing scientific materials in adherence to regulations and company policies.
• Report to the Head of Medical Affairs and collaborate with senior leadership.
• Advanced scientific or clinical degree (MD, PharmD, or PhD).
• A minimum of 10 years of leadership experience in Medical Affairs; 5 years of global experience is preferred.
• Background in neuroscience, sleep medicine, neurology, psychiatry, or rare diseases.
• Proven experience leading at least one successful global product launch.
• Experience acting as a global medical lead for late-stage development or commercial products.
• Strong comprehension of global medical affairs, evidence generation, payer evidence requirements, and commercialization readiness.
• Demonstrated ability to drive strategy within a matrix environment.
• Established track record of working collaboratively with commercial, market access, HEOR, regulatory affairs, and clinical development teams.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Must be based in the United States.
• Willingness to travel approximately 20% of the time.
