
Regional Marketing Liaison

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Plan, coordinate, execute, assess, educate, and lead the facility's public relations and marketing initiatives.
• Maintain and enhance census levels while providing the community with pertinent information about the facility, its programs, services, and practices.
• Create and uphold policies and procedures for the release of resident, employee, and facility information, ensuring compliance with Privacy Rules and Regulations.
• Support the Administrator and department heads in formulating marketing and public relations policies and procedures.
• Review marketing and public relations policies and procedures at least once a year, making updates as necessary.
• Supervise the creation, implementation, and analysis of customer satisfaction surveys.
• Ensure that public information materials accurately represent the services offered by the facility.
• Provide training for facility staff on internal communication strategies.
• Facilitate monthly marketing and public relations meetings for departments.
• Offer creative assistance to the activity and social services teams.
• Serve as a liaison with families, residents, community members, and civic leaders.
• Engage in community service and civic organizations while seeking support for charitable initiatives.
• Reach out to news media regarding beneficial new programs and promotional events.
• Keep the Administrator updated on significant coverage in newspapers, radio, and television.
• Establish a public relations command center during emergencies and ensure the release of accurate information.
• Assist marketing directors with in-service training, onboarding, and orientation programs.
• Foster a positive, calm, and welcoming atmosphere within the facility.
• Prepare a departmental operating budget and allocate resources effectively.
• Participate in facility committees as directed.
• Maintain the confidentiality of resident care information and report any suspected unauthorized disclosures.
• Attend Regional meetings upon the RDO's request.
• Visit facilities to evaluate, train, and monitor Administrative staff while developing action plans.
• Conduct Regional monthly marketing meetings focused on training and development.
• Manage employees, including responsibilities for hiring, training, budgeting, performance evaluations, rewards, discipline, complaint resolution, and problem-solving.
• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college/university, or equivalent; ten (10) years of experience in marketing/public relations within a healthcare environment may substitute for a bachelor's degree.
• A Master's Degree in Marketing is preferred, or an MBA.
• Capability to read, analyze, and interpret business publications, professional journals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations.
• Skill in writing reports, business correspondence, and procedural manuals.
• Ability to present information effectively and respond to inquiries from managers and employees.
• Proficiency in applying fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
• Aptitude for solving practical problems and interpreting written, oral, diagrammatic, or schedule instructions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite products.
• Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
• Travel by automobile or airline is required.
