This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Enhance the presence, partnerships, visibility, ecosystem engagement, and collaboration opportunities of Urban Strategies within a specified geographic region.
• Build, nurture, and manage relationships with key stakeholders and partners throughout the designated geographic area.
• Identify partnership opportunities, maintain a pipeline of partnerships, and connect relevant program staff with prospective partners.
• Strengthen engagement across faith-based, nonprofit, civic, philanthropic, educational, business, and community sectors.
• Develop and sustain a robust regional relationship infrastructure.
• Represent Urban Strategies at regional meetings, events, partnership opportunities, and community gatherings.
• Raise awareness of Urban Strategies' programs, initiatives, mission, and regional footprint.
• Identify opportunities for shared engagement, communication, and coordination among programs and initiatives.
• Connect relevant organizations, leaders, and opportunities to appropriate Urban Strategies initiatives.
• Formulate a local partnership strategy and monitor regional trends, community needs, and emerging developments.
• Provide regional relationship insights and ecosystem intelligence to leadership and local teams.
• Collaborate with leadership and program teams on regional relationships, partnership, ecosystem, and growth opportunities.
• Facilitate strategic gatherings, ecosystem engagement opportunities, and collaborative convenings.
• Convene partners, leaders, and stakeholders as necessary.
• Maintain visibility of regional relationships, engagement activities, opportunities, and follow-ups through organizational reporting structures.
• Support shared relationship-management systems, including CRM infrastructure.
• Participate in regional and cross-program coordination meetings, learning sessions, and alignment activities.
• Aid in relationship navigation and ensure timely regional communication.
• Proven experience in partnership development, community engagement, nonprofit leadership, public affairs, faith-based leadership, education, advocacy, fundraising, cross-sector collaboration, or a related discipline.
• Established credibility and capacity for relationship-building within the designated community, region, or relevant professional networks.
• Demonstrated ability to forge relationships across various sectors and connect individuals, organizations, and opportunities.
• Strong strategic and systems-thinking abilities with a knack for identifying alignment points, regional opportunities, and community dynamics.
• Excellent verbal, written, networking, public speaking, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively across programs, functions, organizations, and community networks.
• Capacity to represent Urban Strategies professionally and exercise sound judgment in external-facing environments.
• Commitment to community-centered, relationship-driven work and collaborative leadership.
• Must possess the ability to travel on short notice.
• Employment is contingent upon satisfactory results from all required tests and background checks.
