This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Engage and influence healthcare professionals to establish educational platforms, generate insights, and guide current and future brand and disease-state strategies.
• Implement Kite’s comprehensive commercial interaction strategy in the United States with opinion leaders in the hematology, hem/oncology, and CAR T treatment sectors.
• Identify, profile, nurture, and sustain long-term partnerships with national, regional, and emerging hematology opinion leaders.
• Formulate regional opinion leader strategies and communicate these plans with cross-functional collaborators.
• Gather opinion leader insights and develop advocacy that aligns with commercial and marketing strategies and messaging.
• Conduct on-label discussions concerning disease diagnosis and treatment, referral dynamics, product positioning, and opportunities for Kite.
• Organize and implement interactions with opinion leaders and executive meetings at conferences, field visits, and other venues.
• Address commercial opinion leader issues as a single point of contact.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, medical affairs, Congress Strategy, and other cross-functional teams.
• Utilize opinion leader insights and competitive intelligence to shape brand strategies and tactical initiatives.
• Identify market gaps, foresee competitor actions, and drive strategic planning efforts.
• Facilitate the planning, recruitment, and execution of regional and national advisory boards.
• Identify, align, and recruit suitable healthcare professional and opinion leader consultants.
• Lead the development and execution of third-party educational programs, including vendor partnership management and tactical delivery.
• Inform the planning and execution of opinion leader programming, national and regional conferences, and speakers bureau activities.
• Ensure that opinion leader programming reflects real-world practices, geographic nuances, and unmet clinical needs.
• Foster inclusion, develop talent, and empower teams as a people leader.
• Bachelor's Degree with Twelve Years of Experience OR Master's Degree with Ten Years of Experience OR PhD with Eight Years of Experience.
• Over 12 years of experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry, including prior sales experience in hematology/oncology.
• At least 2 years of people leadership experience within the pharmaceutical/biotech industry.
• Comprehensive understanding of the hematology/oncology clinical landscape.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with a proven ability to cultivate relationships with oncology and cell therapy opinion leaders.
• Willingness and capability to stay updated on data readouts and communicate their implications to Kite.
• Strong ability to collaborate cross-functionally in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively (>60%) within the region.
• Preferably, prior experience in cell therapy or stem cell transplant.
• Previous leadership experience is preferred.
