This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Engage and influence healthcare professionals to develop educational platforms, generate insights, and inform both current and future brand and disease-state strategies.
• Collaborate closely with Healthcare Professionals and Opinion Leaders in a field-based marketing capacity.
• Implement Kite’s comprehensive commercial US interaction strategy with opinion leaders in the fields of hematology, hem/onc, and CAR T therapies.
• Identify, profile, nurture, and sustain long-term partnerships with National, Regional, and Emerging Opinion Leaders.
• Formulate regional Opinion Leader strategies and effectively communicate plans with cross-functional partners.
• Gather insights from Opinion Leaders and develop advocacy aligned with the commercial and marketing strategy and messaging.
• Participate in on-label discussions regarding disease diagnosis and treatment, referral dynamics, product positioning, and opportunities for Kite.
• Plan and carry out interactions with Opinion Leaders and executive encounters at conferences, field visits, and other venues.
• Act as a primary point of contact for resolving commercial Opinion Leader issues.
• Leverage insights from Opinion Leaders and competitive intelligence to influence brand strategies and tactical initiatives.
• Identify market gaps, anticipate competitor actions, and drive strategic planning efforts.
• Facilitate cross-functional planning, recruitment, and execution of regional and national advisory boards.
• Identify, align, and recruit HCP/Opinion Leader consultants for marketing projects and KPIs.
• Lead the development and execution of third-party educational programs, including vendor partnership management and tactical delivery.
• Inform strategic planning and execution of Opinion Leader programming, conferences, and speaker’s bureau activities.
• Ensure that Opinion Leader programming reflects real-world practices, geographic nuances, and unmet clinical needs.
• Foster inclusion, develop talent, and empower teams as a people leader.
• Bachelor’s Degree with Twelve Years of Experience OR Master’s Degree with Ten Years of Experience OR PhD with Eight Years of Experience.
• Over 12 years of experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry, including prior sales experience in hematology/oncology.
• At least 2 years of people leadership experience within the pharmaceutical/biotech industry.
• Comprehensive understanding of the hematology/oncology clinical landscape, ideally with prior experience in cell therapy or stem cell transplantation.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to build relationships with oncology and cell therapy opinion leaders.
• Willingness and capability to remain at the forefront of data readouts and communicate their implications to Kite.
• Strong ability to collaborate cross-functionally in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Previous leadership experience is preferred.
• Willingness to travel extensively (>60%) within the region.
