Regional Manager, Business Development

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Develop and nurture sustainable relationships with leading mortgage brokers in the Greater Vancouver Area (GVA)

• Offer expert advice regarding CMLS products and credit policies

• Provide on-site support, training, and troubleshooting within the broker network

• Oversee application lifecycles and collaborate with internal underwriting and risk management teams

• Structure intricate residential applications to adhere to credit standards

• Assume responsibility for territory funding goals and promote consistent growth and high-quality originations

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong experience in residential mortgage underwriting or credit analysis

• Proactive attitude aimed at capturing market share and expanding the territory

• Collaborative mindset with an understanding of the partnership between sales, underwriting, and risk

• Extensive, existing network within the Vancouver Island broker community

• Valid driver's license

• Reliable access to a vehicle

• Holding a Mortgage Broker or Mortgage Agent license will be regarded as an advantage
