This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Develop and nurture lasting relationships with leading mortgage brokers in the Vancouver Island region.

• Deliver expert advice regarding CMLS products and credit policies.

• Offer on-site assistance, training, and problem-solving within the broker community.

• Oversee application lifecycles and work closely with internal underwriting and risk teams.

• Organize complex residential mortgage applications prior to underwriting assessment.

• Take ownership of territory funding objectives and promote consistent growth along with high-quality originations.

• Evaluate regional market trends and proactively enhance market presence.

• Strong experience in residential mortgage underwriting or credit analysis.

• Proactive mindset aimed at capturing market share and expanding the territory.

• Team-oriented individual who appreciates the collaboration between sales, underwriting, and risk departments.

• Established and robust network within the Vancouver Island broker community.

• Relationship-driven approach and a trusted advisor perspective.

• Valid driver’s license and dependable access to a vehicle.

• Holding a Mortgage Broker or Mortgage Agent license is considered a valuable asset.

• Must be located on Vancouver Island.
