This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Oversee, mentor, and provide leadership to a district of Therapeutic Sales Specialists.
β’ Formulate and execute business plans for designated districts.
β’ Support individual Therapeutic Sales Specialists in adopting next-generation work methods using a next-best-action engine.
β’ Implement the overall strategy and vision for the Specialty Franchise.
β’ Collaborate with Commercial Operations to enhance field-force alignment in response to evolving market conditions.
β’ Inspire innovative ideas and execution for customer interactions through both virtual and in-person selling.
β’ Create and nurture a high-performing, diverse team by attracting, selecting, developing, and retaining top talent.
β’ Cultivate relationships and devise innovative concepts and solutions for a growing biopharmaceutical company.
β’ Ensure that product strategies and messaging are communicated and executed as planned.
β’ Utilize the Azurity Commercial Excellence (ACE) platform for CRM and customer engagement analysis, sales-force strategy, targeting, territory alignment, reporting, and incentive planning.
β’ Implement strategies to enhance sales routing and overall efficiency.
β’ Collaborate in training initiatives to ensure product knowledge, selling competencies, and proficiency in systems and processes.
β’ Provide leadership and direction to optimize business opportunities and meet customer needs across key functions.
β’ Work with HR on recruitment, employee development, and performance management strategies.
β’ Gather and analyze internal and external data sources to inform business decisions.
β’ Report to the Sales Director and engage with Commercial Leadership, Commercial Operations & Analytics, Marketing, Market Access & Strategic Accounts, Sales Training, Regulatory, Medical Affairs, Legal, Compliance, and Finance.
β’ BA or BS degree (MBA or advanced degree is advantageous).
β’ Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in specialty pharmaceutical sales, including field sales management and product launch experience as both a representative and sales leader.
β’ Proficient in customer-facing sales strategy and optimization within multi-channel customers, with notable success in pharmacy-related areas.
β’ Exceptional leadership, team-building, and organizational capabilities.
β’ Demonstrated ability to coach and develop sales professionals.
β’ Technical proficiency in coordinating functional business activities.
β’ Strong strategic and analytical abilities.
β’ Experience working with syndicated sales data across customer channels, longitudinal patient-level data, and payer-level data.
β’ Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and align at all organizational levels.
β’ Capacity to work effectively in a team setting and collaborate to achieve consensus.
β’ Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment and manage multiple product launches across therapeutic areas.
β’ Comprehensive understanding of the pharmaceutical regulatory/legal landscape and compliance requirements, including the PhRMA Code.
β’ Solid knowledge of the Retail and Institutional Marketplace.
β’ Familiarity with CRM call reporting and dashboard systems.
β’ Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook.
β’ Willingness to travel approximately 75%, including overnight stays.
β’ Must be able to sit for extended periods; frequently stand, walk, talk, and/or hear.
β’ May occasionally need to climb stairs and/or use elevators.
β’ Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds on occasion.
β’ Capability to manipulate a keyboard and operate a telephone and handheld devices.
