
Regional Maintenance Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +4 more states.
β’ Deploy throughout the network to identify gaps, initiate corrective measures, and restore performance to meet KPI targets
β’ Assess site conditions, maintenance execution, and team capabilities, providing clear improvement plans with assigned ownership
β’ Establish, instruct, and enforce maintenance execution standards
β’ Perform Health Check audits and conduct Quality Assurance reviews
β’ Offer Fulfillment Center General Managers insights into maintenance activities
β’ Mentor and guide Senior Maintenance Managers, Maintenance Managers, and Area Maintenance Managers
β’ Recognize leadership gaps and formulate individualized development plans
β’ Instruct on budgeting, workforce management, KPI interpretation, and escalation protocols
β’ Develop talent pipelines within the sites
β’ Standardize maintenance work methods, enhance reliability, document processes, and train teams
β’ Create and implement reliability strategies to boost facility uptime
β’ Provide expertise in Material Handling Equipment, Industrial Automation, and Robotics systems
β’ Analyze operational metrics, diagnose root causes, and promote continuous improvement
β’ Advise senior leadership on equipment end-of-life challenges utilizing ROI and analytical methods
β’ Cultivate and reinforce a proactive safety culture while enforcing safe work practices
β’ Build relationships with site Operations leaders, Regional Operations Managers, Program Managers, JLL leaders, and Finance
β’ Ensure KPI performance and relay results during weekly business reviews and reporting
β’ Oversee labor and PRM budgets, adherence to overtime, variances, PO creation, and invoice reconciliation
β’ Collaborate with other Regional Maintenance Managers to ensure uniform program execution
β’ Bachelor's degree
β’ 6+ years of experience managing employees and performance, including salaried leaders
β’ Previous experience in a regional or multi-site maintenance leadership role overseeing 80+ employees
β’ Proven history of leading change, accelerating team development, and enhancing performance across multiple sites
β’ Functional knowledge of Material Handling Equipment systems, maintenance best practices, and 24/7 logistics environments
β’ Willingness to travel 70β80% and deploy on short notice to sites across North America
β’ Strong skills in coaching, mentoring, and influencing
β’ Experience in reliability-centered maintenance, preventive/predictive strategies, and large-scale integrated systems
β’ Proficiency in data analysis and converting metrics into actionable coaching and site-level decisions
β’ Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, TOC, standardized work, and cost/benefit analysis
β’ Working knowledge of MS Excel, AutoCAD, MS Project, and CMMS platforms
