This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Pursue innovative opportunities to enhance the existing travel-agent business within a designated portfolio of key accounts in North America.
• Develop and implement local and national marketing strategies and programs aimed at maximizing sales and achieving profitable revenue growth.
• Carry out the “Marketing to Fill” sales strategy for assigned travel partners.
• Evaluate promotional programs and their return on investment while overseeing marketing fees and additional marketing funds.
• Provide analysis, reporting, and support regarding key-account performance and strategy.
• Organize marketing activities in collaboration with regional and consortium headquarters, host key accounts, and internal account teams.
• Execute marketing strategies and initiatives for regional consortiums.
• Identify high-potential consortium members and formulate plans to increase their sales share.
• Monitor regional outcomes and deliver monthly reports to the Regional Sales Director.
• Work together with account directors on marketing plans for national consortiums and key accounts.
• Conduct in-person sales calls and outbound calls to uncover new revenue opportunities.
• Create solutions for partner challenges and delegate service or troubleshooting issues to support teams.
• Optimize affinity and promotional group opportunities to enhance the booking curve.
• Formulate quarterly and annual sales plans for the territory.
• Oversee and review budgets for travel, cooperative advertising, and promotions.
• Maintain documentation of agency activities in Salesforce.
• Remain updated on corporate information, policies, procedures, sales and marketing programs, and communications.
• Represent NCLH professionally at conferences, conventions, trade shows, seminars, ship inspections, and other sales events.
• Perform additional job-related functions as assigned.
• Bachelor's Degree in sales/marketing, business administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience.
• At least 10 years of experience in outside sales or outbound sales calls.
• Experience with customer-focused sales strategies.
• General understanding of CRM systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including intermediate skills in Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with Zoom and GoTo meeting platforms.
• Strong knowledge of current and emerging social media platforms.
• Knowledge of or the ability to learn Norwegian reservation systems such as Seaware and Seaweb, as well as e-commerce channels.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, presentation, analytical, planning, interpersonal, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• Capability to implement contracts and develop sales and marketing strategies.
• Proficiency in managing budgets, forecasting, and cost-of-sale analysis.
• Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
• Business acumen and awareness of market and competitive trends within the travel and cruise industry.
• Excellent verbal and written command of the English language.
• Willingness to travel within the sales territory, both domestically and internationally.
• A valid state driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Flexibility to work evenings and/or weekends.
• Capability to bend and lift up to 30 lbs, with reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and conduct walking tours aboard vessels, with reasonable accommodation.
• Travel, cooperative advertising, and promotional budget managed within role responsibilities.
