Regional Investment Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.

📋 Description

• Create and implement a territory business strategy aimed at enhancing sales, asset growth, and market presence.

• Cultivate and reinforce relationships with financial advisors, broker-dealers, and influential decision-makers.

• Discover, pursue, and convert new business prospects while nurturing existing client connections.

• Act as a reliable advisor by providing investment insights, business solutions, and market knowledge.

• Collaborate with investment, product, marketing, and relationship management teams to offer tailored client solutions.

• Lead client presentations, business evaluations, and sales conversations with advisors and firm executives.

• Keep track of industry trends, competitive advancements, and regulatory shifts to pinpoint opportunities and provide strategic advice.

• Share successful practices and aid in the continued enhancement of sales strategies, tools, and client engagement methods.

• Ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements, risk management protocols, and company policies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over ten years of pertinent work experience.

• Active FINRA Series 7 and Series 66 licenses.

• Strong skills in consultative selling, presentation, and negotiation.

• Established connections with wirehouse, independent, and regional broker-dealer advisors.

• Demonstrated success in expanding advisor relationships and meeting or surpassing sales targets.

• A minimum of five years of experience wholesaling to financial advisors in the designated territory (preferred).

• Professional certification or advanced degree such as CFA, CFP®, CIMA®, or MBA (preferred).

• Experience in representing a wide array of investment products and portfolio solutions (preferred).

• Must reside in the geographical territory and possess an established network in the area.
