Regional Integrated Management Systems Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Oversee and assist in the planning, execution, certification, and upkeep of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 50001 management systems at North American locations.

• Manage and uphold the regional Integrated Management System (IMS) framework, ensuring it aligns with global standards and corporate goals.

• Create, evaluate, and oversee IMS documentation such as policies, procedures, work instructions, and forms.

• Relay updates to systems and process modifications throughout all levels of the organization.

• Organize, coordinate, and perform internal audits while facilitating external certification and regulatory audits.

• Recognize gaps, non-conformities, and areas for improvement; drive corrective action plans to completion.

• Monitor, analyze, and report IMS performance metrics, risks, and trends through monthly critical analysis reports.

• Assist sites in setting and tracking IMS objectives, targets, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

• Offer coaching, support, and training to site teams regarding IMS requirements.

• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, standardization, operational discipline, and root cause analysis.

• Encourage cross-functional collaboration to tackle systemic challenges and enhance organizational performance.

• Evaluate contractor performance to ensure alignment with IMS expectations.

• Stay informed on OSHA, MSHA, and EPA regulations, ensuring management systems comply with legal requirements.

• Advocate for safe work practices, hazard identification, and ethical behavior.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of experience in Health, Safety, Environmental, Quality, or a relevant field.

• Experience in conducting internal and/or external audits; ISO auditing experience is highly preferred.

• Strong grasp of root cause analysis, corrective action procedures, and continuous improvement methodologies.

• Familiarity with OSHA, MSHA, EPA, or similar regulatory frameworks.

• Experience in implementing, maintaining, or enhancing ISO-certified management systems.

• Training or certification related to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and/or ISO 50001 standards.

• Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building capabilities.

• Ability to work independently, manage various priorities, and influence stakeholders across a geographically diverse organization.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and document control systems.

• Experience in manufacturing, industrial, mining, or similar operational settings is advantageous.

• Knowledge of energy management systems, sustainability initiatives, or environmental programs is a plus.

• Willingness and capacity to travel up to 50% of the time.
