This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.
β’ Collaborate with regional executives to define workforce strategies that facilitate regional growth.
β’ Offer change management assistance during organizational transitions and market entries.
β’ Act as the communication link between Global HQ HR and local regional teams.
β’ Provide data-driven insights to regional leaders aimed at enhancing operational efficiency.
β’ Develop tailored talent acquisition strategies for executive and high-impact sales leadership positions.
β’ Oversee regional succession planning for emerging markets.
β’ Conduct annual talent reviews in the region and create targeted upskilling initiatives.
β’ Facilitate competitive onboarding experiences that consider regional specifics.
β’ Implement standardized corporate appraisal systems that are adjusted to local market conditions.
β’ Mentor regional country managers on performance enhancement and constructive feedback.
β’ Foster a high-performance culture that aligns with Tiens Groupβs values and direct-selling business model.
β’ Manage employee engagement initiatives aimed at minimizing cross-border turnover.
β’ Keep track of localized labor law developments across assigned countries.
β’ Address complex employee relations issues, grievances, and local compliance disputes.
β’ Provide guidance on compensation adjustments and the localization of corporate benefit programs.
β’ Bachelorβs degree in law, Human Resources, or a related field.
β’ At least 5 years of progressive HR experience.
β’ Minimum of 3 years as a Regional HR Business Partner (HRBP).
β’ Previous experience in a multinational corporation (MNC) or regional headquarters with matrix reporting structures.
β’ Experience in direct selling, FMCG, healthcare, or retail industries is highly desirable.
β’ Professional fluency in English and proficiency in at least one other major language relevant to the region.
β’ Professional fluency in Mandarin Chinese is mandatory.
β’ Comprehensive understanding of labor law frameworks across the designated region.
β’ Documented success in managing cross-cultural teams and executing stakeholder management remotely.
β’ Strong data literacy with experience utilizing AI tools for workflow efficiency.
β’ Willingness to travel regionally up to 20% of the time based on business requirements.
β’ Must have unrestricted legal authorization to work and travel throughout the respective region/continent without company sponsorship.
β’ Availability to overlap with local regional business hours is required.
