This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon.
• Offer clinical expertise and support to Health and Wellness Directors and healthcare personnel in the community.
• Perform routine site visits to evaluate clinical operations, resident care, and adherence to regulations.
• Oversee resident assessments, care plans, and documentation processes.
• Provide advice on complex clinical matters, medication management, and care coordination.
• Ensure the application of company clinical policies, procedures, and best practices throughout the region.
• Guarantee that communities adhere to federal, state, and local regulations regarding resident care.
• Conduct audits of resident records, medication administration, and clinical procedures.
• Assist during regulatory surveys and inspections.
• Identify opportunities for clinical care enhancements and implement strategies to improve outcomes.
• Deliver education and training on clinical best practices, regulations, and company policies.
• Develop and execute regional training programs.
• Ensure staff hold the necessary certifications and licenses.
• Advocate for resident-centered care, dignity, independence, and choice.
• Monitor resident satisfaction and work to improve the resident experience.
• Address concerns from residents and their families regarding clinical care.
• Coordinate residents' healthcare needs with physicians and other healthcare providers.
• Lead, mentor, and coach Health and Wellness Directors.
• Engage in the recruitment, hiring, and onboarding of clinical staff.
• Collaborate with regional leaders on clinical and operational objectives.
• Represent the company's clinical philosophy and standards to external stakeholders.
• Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) with a current, valid license in the state(s) of practice.
• Possess 5 to 10 years of experience in senior living, assisted living, or long-term care, including progressive clinical leadership roles.
• In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations concerning senior living and resident care.
• Proven expertise in clinical assessment, care planning, and medication management.
• Strong leadership, management, and supervisory abilities.
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Capability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and handle multiple responsibilities.
• Proficient in electronic health records (EHR) systems and other relevant technology.
• Willingness to travel regularly within the assigned region.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, frequently bend, stoop, kneel, and reach, and occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds with assistance.
• Strong manual dexterity for medication administration and documentation.
• Clear verbal communication, acute vision for close tasks and safety, and ability to hear alarms and instructions.
