This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
β’ Take charge of decision-making and spearhead the development and execution of the Regional Relationships Strategy to foster net income growth in alignment with the broader Public Fundraising strategy.
β’ Oversee and manage the regionβs budget, suggesting corrective measures and investment proposals as necessary.
β’ Collaborate with the Engagement Directorate and the wider organization to advance organizational development and strategic goals.
β’ Cultivate and maintain relationships with regional supporters and corporate partners to maximize their contributions to the charity.
β’ Engage regional supporters and corporates in fundraising initiatives, enhancing the brand and communicating the organization's messages effectively.
β’ Keep abreast of best practices and trends in regional relationships fundraising, including networking within the sector.
β’ Represent Blood Cancer UK to senior external stakeholders, enhancing the organization's profile and reputation.
β’ Ensure that regional fundraising activities adhere to charity laws, regulations, and Blood Cancer UK compliance standards.
β’ Travel frequently throughout the region to meet with supporters and stakeholders, with national travel occurring approximately 6β8 times a year.
β’ Proven experience in building robust relationships with supporters, volunteers, corporates, or stakeholders.
β’ Background in community or corporate fundraising, with an emphasis on income growth.
β’ Experience leveraging insights and data to identify opportunities and enhance performance.
β’ Ability to manage a diverse workload while collaborating effectively across teams.
β’ Knowledge of best practices and equality principles in volunteer management.
β’ Proactive working knowledge of relationship management databases or similar tools.
β’ Familiarity with best practices in community fundraising, particularly in regional corporate fundraising.
β’ Capability to analyze complex program performance and trends, formulate improvement and growth strategies, and plan, implement, and evaluate changes.
β’ Proficient in building, managing, and developing relationships with suppliers and supporters at the Leadership level.
β’ Skillful in managing a diverse workload, prioritizing and delegating tasks, and meeting targets in a fast-paced environment with stringent deadlines.
β’ Advanced analytical abilities for interpreting complex data and informing strategic choices.
β’ Valid UK driving license and access to a personal vehicle for business use.
β’ Experience in planning and setting budgets for Community/Regional and Corporate Fundraising, with a proven track record of increasing income.
β’ Experience in developing and implementing supporter journeys to maximize net income, average donations, and repeat support.
