This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +12 more states.
β’ Act as the primary leader accountable for the overall success of CollegeSpring in the Northeast region.
β’ Enhance CollegeSpring's influence by securing philanthropic and earned revenue, forming strategic partnerships, entering new markets, and ensuring outstanding program delivery.
β’ Formulate and implement the regional growth strategy.
β’ Discover new school districts, nonprofit organizations, higher education institutions, and funding prospects.
β’ Build and nurture relationships with foundations, corporations, government agencies, major donors, and strategic allies.
β’ Represent CollegeSpring across the region to educational leaders, policymakers, funders, and community organizations.
β’ Guide, mentor, and develop the regional team, including Program Experience Partners.
β’ Create partner-specific implementation strategies and guarantee successful program launches.
β’ Collaborate with national teams in Program, Advancement, Finance, Marketing, Technology, and Operations.
β’ Track regional performance, partner feedback, and student outcomes using data analysis.
β’ Prepare and oversee regional budgets, revenue forecasts, and financial performance metrics.
β’ Ensure that regional operations, personnel, and resources provide consistent, high-quality execution and sustainable growth.
β’ Report directly to the Chief Executive Officer and be part of the Senior Leadership Team.
β’ Travel frequently throughout the Northeast, including day trips and occasional overnight stays; additional overnight and out-of-state travel up to 10% may be necessary.
β’ A Bachelor's degree in Education, Business, Public Administration, Public Policy, Nonprofit Management, or a related field.
β’ Over 15 years of progressively responsible leadership experience in education, nonprofit, public sector, or a related area.
β’ Proven success in leading organizational growth through strategic partnerships, business development, or market expansion.
β’ Established fundraising experience, including cultivation of foundations, corporations, government, and/or major donors.
β’ Experience in developing executive-level relationships with school districts, nonprofit organizations, higher education institutions, foundations, corporations, or government agencies.
β’ Demonstrated success in leading and developing high-performing teams.
β’ Strong financial and business acumen, with experience in managing budgets, forecasting revenue, and meeting financial targets.
β’ Exceptional skills in communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship building.
β’ Proven ability to think strategically while executing operationally in a dynamic, growth-centric environment.
β’ A strong commitment to educational equity and a belief that all students have the potential to achieve at high levels.
β’ Ability to stand or sit for extended periods.
β’ Capacity to lift, carry, or transport educational or promotional materials and/or equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
β’ Preferred: Experience working with K-12 school systems, charter organizations, higher education institutions, or statewide education initiatives.
β’ Preferred: Knowledge of the K-12 education landscape, funding frameworks, and policy environments.
β’ Preferred: Experience in leading regional or statewide nonprofit operations.
β’ Preferred: Existing connections within the region's education, philanthropic, nonprofit, or business sectors.
