This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Propel territory expansion through strategic collaboration with distribution partners and focused demand generation initiatives.
• Formulate and implement business strategies aimed at enhancing market share, boosting revenue, promoting design activity, and fostering customer adoption of Molex solutions.
• Cultivate and reinforce relationships with distributor teams across the channel.
• Spearhead strategic projects that enhance market penetration and solidify Molex's presence in targeted growth sectors.
• Collaborate with distributor sales teams on customer engagements, opportunity development, account strategy, and growth initiatives.
• Persuade distributor stakeholders to prioritize Molex opportunities, discover new applications, and elevate customer engagement.
• Identify design prospects, boost design registrations, and drive demand generation activities.
• Manage and monitor design-win activities, customer pipeline development, and opportunity conversion.
• Set up monthly and quarterly operational rhythms with distribution partners, including pipeline assessments, demand generation discussions, design-win evaluations, and growth planning.
• Conduct quarterly business reviews to evaluate performance, pinpoint opportunities, and align future growth strategies.
• Lead training programs for distributors to enhance product knowledge, solution positioning, and sales efficiency.
• Collaborate with sales, product management, marketing, sales operations, and business development teams.
• Support distributor registration initiatives and promote transparency and alignment across channel activities.
• Maintain a consistent presence with key distribution partners to heighten awareness of Molex's capabilities and opportunities.
• Adhere to relevant quality, environmental, safety, and business processes while supporting Koch's Principle Based Management culture.
• Must be based in Texas, covering the distribution territory in Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, and Arkansas.
• Experience in sales, channel management, business development, field application engineering, product management, or a similar commercial or technical role within the electronics sector or a related technical market.
• Proven experience collaborating with customers, distributors, or cross-functional stakeholders to meet business objectives.
• Experience in developing, presenting, or executing business, sales, technical, or customer-focused initiatives.
• Willingness and ability to travel within the assigned territory.
• Up to 40% regional travel, plus local visits to customers and distributors.
• Preferred experience with interconnect, passive, electromechanical, or related electronic component technologies.
• Preferred experience working with electronics distribution partners.
• Preferred experience in designing with OEMs or assisting customer design wins.
• Preferred experience in developing and executing growth strategies.
• Preferred experience in conducting business reviews and presenting business performance metrics.
• Preferred experience in product management, marketing, field application engineering, sales engineering, technical sales, or related commercial roles within the electronics industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
