This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Propel territory growth by strategically engaging with distribution partners and implementing targeted demand creation initiatives.
• Formulate and execute business plans aimed at enhancing market share, driving revenue growth, promoting design activity, and fostering customer adoption of Molex solutions.
• Cultivate and reinforce relationships with distributor teams across the channel.
• Spearhead strategic initiatives with distribution partners to boost market penetration and fortify Molex's standing in key growth markets.
• Collaborate with distributor sales teams on customer visits, opportunity development, account strategy, and growth initiatives.
• Motivate distributor stakeholders to prioritize Molex opportunities, identify new applications, and enhance customer engagement.
• Recognize design opportunities, increase design registrations, and lead demand creation efforts with distributor and internal teams.
• Monitor design-win activities, customer pipeline development, and opportunity conversion.
• Set up monthly and quarterly operational schedules with distribution partners, including pipeline reviews, demand creation discussions, design-win assessments, and growth planning.
• Conduct quarterly business reviews and align strategies for future growth.
• Direct distributor training programs on product knowledge, solution positioning, and sales effectiveness.
• Collaborate with sales, product management, marketing, sales operations, and business development teams.
• Assist with distributor registration programs and channel alignment.
• Maintain a steady presence across key distribution partners.
• Adhere to relevant quality, environmental, safety, and business processes.
• Proven experience in sales, channel management, business development, field application engineering, product management, or a related commercial or technical role in the electronics industry or a similar technical market.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with customers, distributors, or cross-functional stakeholders to achieve business objectives.
• Experience in developing, presenting, or implementing business, sales, technical, or customer-focused initiatives.
• Willingness and ability to travel within the assigned territory.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
• Familiarity with interconnect, passive, electromechanical, or similar electronic component technologies is preferred.
• Background in working with electronics distribution partners is preferred.
• Experience in designing with OEMs or supporting customer design wins is preferred.
• Proven ability to develop and execute growth strategies is preferred.
• Experience in conducting business reviews and presenting business performance metrics is preferred.
• Background in product management, marketing, field application engineering, sales engineering, technical sales, or related commercial roles within electronics is preferred.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future employment visa sponsorship.
• Must be willing to travel up to 40% regionally, as well as for local customer and distributor visits.
