This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Thailand.
• Oversee Dairy Queen's network of authorized distributors to guarantee a steady, competitive, and dependable supply of approved products, ingredients, and packaging.
• Foster profitable expansion across product categories within the designated U.S. region.
• Act as the main supply chain leader for franchisees, operators, distributors, and internal stakeholders.
• Offer strategic direction, operational support, and solutions to complex distribution and supply chain issues.
• Enhance distributor performance, focusing on fill rates, perfect orders, timely delivery, approved-product distribution, and SKU optimization.
• Recognize opportunities for supply chain savings and growth.
• Conduct annual distribution assessments and maintain relationships with distribution center account executives and senior account personnel.
• Articulate supply chain strategy and initiatives to franchisees and operational teams.
• Create implementation strategies for new product launches and limited-time offers.
• Evaluate warehouse operations, inventory management, product quality, and service standards.
• Suggest policy and procedure modifications and formulate corrective action plans.
• Collaborate with Quality Assurance to enforce distribution quality assurance programs and policies.
• Utilize and enhance advanced reporting solutions from Arrowstream and other platforms.
• Work in tandem with the assigned Franchisee Support Analyst and uphold cross-functional relationships.
• Manage contract renewals and requests for proposals (RFPs).
• Analyze inventory movement, proprietary items, inventory turnover, lead times, and expedited freight costs.
• Identify inventory risks and create mitigation strategies.
• Establish and communicate product planning responsibilities and monitor distributor accountability.
• Provide weekly audit reports on unapproved products.
• Collaborate with Product Development and FSQR to approve and monitor distributor-branded item costs.
• Enhance distributor performance through regular reviews of the Distributor Report Card.
• Manage the introduction of new products and limited-time offers, along with inventory and service levels.
• Participate in the annual Supply Chain Summit.
• Assist credit managers in the collection of distributor accounts receivable.
• Provide guidance to Purchasing Managers regarding warehouse and product conditions.
• B.A. or B.S. degree in business or a related field, or a comparable combination of education and work experience.
• A minimum of 5–7 years of relevant supply chain and/or store operations experience.
• Preferred experience in foodservice distribution.
• Strong grasp of the foodservice industry and supply chain management principles.
• Willingness to travel to distributors and their markets approximately 15 days each quarter.
• Capability to drive a vehicle for operator and distributor visits.
• Ability to remain seated in a vehicle for up to 8 hours daily.
• Excellent collaboration and teamwork skills.
• Proven team leadership and cross-functional liaison capabilities.
• Aptitude for driving process enhancements.
• Proficiency in multitasking and prioritizing various projects in a deadline-focused environment.
• Skills in problem identification, information collection, and solution formulation.
• Strong time management, organizational skills, attention to detail, and accuracy.
