
Regional Distribution Manager – Supply Chain

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Thailand.
• Oversee Dairy Queen's network of authorized distributors to guarantee a consistent, competitive, and reliable supply of approved products, ingredients, and packaging.
• Propel profitable growth across product categories within the designated U.S. region.
• Act as the main supply chain leader for franchisees, operators, distributors, and internal stakeholders.
• Offer strategic guidance, operational support, and solutions for complex distribution and supply chain issues.
• Manage and enhance distributor performance, focusing on fill rates, perfect orders, on-time delivery, approved product distribution, and SKU rationalization.
• Discover savings and growth opportunities within the supply chain.
• Conduct annual distribution reviews and maintain relationships with distribution center account executives and senior staff.
• Communicate supply chain strategies and programs to franchisees and ADQ operations.
• Formulate implementation plans for new product launches and Limited Time Offers.
• Assess warehouse operations, inventory management, product quality, and service levels.
• Suggest policy and procedure modifications and create corrective action plans.
• Collaborate with Quality Assurance to enforce the ADQ Distribution Quality Assurance program and policies.
• Utilize and develop advanced reporting solutions from Arrowstream and other systems.
• Work in coordination with the assigned Franchisee Support Analyst.
• Cultivate inter-company and cross-functional relationships to achieve organizational goals.
• Oversee contract renewals and RFPs.
• Analyze inventory movement, proprietary items, inventory turnover, and lead times.
• Review and manage expedited freight costs.
• Identify risks and create mitigation strategies for inventory loss or write-offs.
• Develop and communicate product planning obligations while ensuring distributor accountability.
• Monitor and provide weekly reports on unapproved products.
• Collaborate with Product Development and FSQR to approve and monitor costs for distributor-branded items.
• Enhance distributor performance through regular metric evaluations and continuous improvement.
• Manage introductions of new products/LTOs, inventory, and service levels.
• Engage in planning and executing the annual Supply Chain Summit.
• Assist credit managers in the collection of distributor accounts receivable.
• Provide guidance to Purchasing Managers on warehouse and product situations.
• Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) in business or a related field, or a comparable combination of education and work experience.
• A minimum of 5–7 years of relevant supply chain and/or store operations experience.
• Experience in foodservice distribution is preferred.
• In-depth understanding of the Foodservice Industry and Supply Chain Management.
• Willingness to travel to distributor locations and markets approximately 15 days per quarter.
• Capability to drive a vehicle for operator and distributor visits.
• Ability to remain seated in a vehicle for up to 8 hours per day.
• Strong collaborative skills in a team environment.
• Proven leadership and cross-department collaboration abilities.
• Aptitude for driving process improvements.
• Proficient in multitasking and prioritizing various projects in a deadline-driven setting.
• Skilled in identifying problems, gathering pertinent information, and proposing realistic solutions.
• Excellent organizational skills with a focus on detail and accuracy.
