This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of a designated territory, encompassing every financial aid office and the relationships within it.
• Develop territory plans, establish calendars, oversee budgets, and achieve results.
• Cultivate trust and build relationships with financial aid offices and stakeholders in higher education.
• Engage with professional associations through membership, exhibiting, attending sessions, participating in listservs, and fulfilling volunteer roles.
• Conduct campus visits roughly six to eight times each year.
• Present institutional webinars utilizing Juno’s standard presentation materials.
• Keep precise CRM records for all active accounts.
• Supply competitive, campus, and student insights to product and marketing teams.
• Assist Juno members with prompt responses, personalized support, and customer service during peak borrowing periods.
• Leverage AI to enhance institution research, draft RFIs, prepare for calls, and facilitate follow-ups.
• Aid financial aid administrators and students in understanding Juno’s private student loan offerings.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in financial aid administration, student lending sales, higher education partnerships, or a similar role focused on serving students.
• Strong network within the financial aid and higher education sectors.
• Capacity to prioritize time and energy effectively.
• Consultative patience and the ability to establish trust through multiple interactions.
• Proficiency in presenting to financial aid administrators and students.
• Competence in crafting RFI and RFP responses.
• Understanding of regulatory compliance; ability to accurately respond to compliance and regulation inquiries and escalate issues as needed.
• Self-management skills across numerous institutions without daily oversight.
• Interest in student lending, including differences between federal and private lending, rates, cosigners, deferral, and refinancing.
• Comfort with increased workloads during peak seasons in the fall and spring.
• Must reside within the assigned territory.
• Willingness to travel approximately 30%, primarily concentrated in the fall and spring.
• Openness to utilizing AI tools for institution research, drafting RFIs, preparing for calls, and follow-ups.
