This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of and meet annual quota objectives within the designated territory.
• Drive the acquisition of new clients and boost revenue growth.
• Formulate and implement strategic territory plans, which include account mapping, identifying stakeholders, and prioritizing opportunities.
• Generate and sustain a pipeline coverage exceeding 4x in collaboration with the SDR.
• Lead exploratory discussions to identify business challenges, desired outcomes, and purchasing processes.
• Provide customized product demonstrations that resonate with customer pain points and institutional priorities.
• Navigate intricate, multi-stakeholder sales cycles, deliver executive presentations, and conduct negotiations.
• Oversee pipeline management and forecasting, ensuring CRM data accuracy and real-time activity tracking.
• Utilize sales methodologies such as MEDDPICC and Value Selling.
• Collaborate with Product, Customer Success, and Executive Leadership stakeholders to enhance deal strength.
• Establish industry credibility through product advocacy and educating on trends in higher education.
• Integrate feedback to refine sales strategies and performance.
• Travel to customer locations and industry events for presentations and workshops approximately 25%–35% of the year.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a full-cycle, quota-carrying SaaS sales position.
• A proven history of surpassing new business goals.
• Demonstrated expertise in navigating complex enterprise sales cycles involving multiple decision-makers and executive stakeholders.
• Profound knowledge of sales methodologies like MEDDPICC and Value Selling; certification is preferred.
• Experience in developing and executing territory and account plans.
• Strong discipline in forecasting and CRM accuracy; familiarity with Salesforce is preferred.
• A proactive, self-driven work ethic with a significant inclination toward action and accountability.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and facilitation abilities.
• High emotional intelligence paired with strategic, creative, and empathetic customer interaction.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, remote-first setting with approximately 30% travel.
• Familiarity with AI tools and contemporary sales technologies.
• Experience in selling to the Higher Education sector is highly preferred.
