Regional Director of Cut Produce

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Lead the strategic and operational expansion of cut produce divisions.

• Ensure that divisions operate efficiently and cost-effectively while achieving organizational objectives.

• Evaluate divisional P&L to inform strategic decisions and pinpoint growth opportunities.

• Advocate for merchandising strategies and brand management initiatives.

• Define, communicate, and implement the strategic direction for operations.

• Collaborate with executive teams to fulfill company goals.

• Promote teamwork and collaboration across all divisions.

• Propel technological innovations and procedural enhancements.

• Manage departmental budgets and provide performance insights to senior leadership.

• Keep track of industry trends and best practices in operations management.

• Ensure adherence to brand and regulatory standards.

• Drive sales growth and exceed performance targets.

• Maintain brand consistency and quality by adhering to corporate sourcing guidelines.

• Recruit and assist franchisees.

• Oversee franchisee operations to ensure conformity with organizational standards.

• Lead recruitment, training, mentoring, performance evaluations, scheduling, disciplinary actions, and terminations for team members.

• Organize schedules for reporting managers and their direct reports.

• Evaluate business procedures and promote continuous improvement.

• Ensure a safe and supportive work environment.

• Inspect and assess store operations regularly.

• Build strong relationships with store managers, franchisees, and merchandisers.

• Facilitate training across divisions and business lines.

• Visit franchise locations, engage with staff, observe operations, and potentially manage produce.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.

• Minimum of 8 years of diverse experience in a related field.

• Candidates must either have the ServSafe Manager Certification upon employment or obtain it within a specified period after hiring.

• Thorough understanding of business and finance principles.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong managerial and diplomatic skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• In-depth knowledge of product lines, inventory management, and store operations.

• Familiarity with food safety, brand compliance, and related audit procedures.

• Demonstrated managerial competencies and mentoring abilities.

• Capable of lifting up to 25 pounds.

• Willingness to travel frequently within the designated region, with occasional national trips.
