This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.
• Take ownership of regional revenue objectives, pipeline development, forecast precision, and comprehensive sales execution.
• Lead, mentor, and nurture a team of enterprise Account Executives.
• Foster a culture of accountability, customer focus, strong qualification, and consistent performance.
• Collaborate with Sales Engineering, Customer Success, Product, Marketing, and Sales leadership to enhance win rates and customer results.
• Drive territory planning, account strategy, opportunity qualification, mutual action plans, forecasting, and expansion efforts.
• Remain actively involved in strategic opportunities through executive alignment, deal strategy, negotiations, and closing processes.
• Provide coaching to the team on selling to technical and executive audiences.
• Review the pipeline, identify risks early, and ensure clear next steps across key opportunities.
• Develop an understanding of market demand, buyer personas, competitive dynamics, and customer challenges in the region.
• Assist in refining LangChain’s enterprise sales approach as the organization grows.
• Recruit, onboard, and retain top-tier sales talent.
• 7+ years of experience in enterprise software sales, including at least 2 years in a leadership role for quota-carrying sales teams.
• Demonstrated success in managing teams that sell complex technical products to enterprise clients.
• Experience in hiring, coaching, and developing high-performing Account Executives.
• Strong expertise in qualification, discovery, value selling, mutual action plans, forecasting, negotiation, and engaging with executives.
• Background in selling to engineering, infrastructure, data, AI/ML, developer platforms, or product teams.
• Capable of thriving in a fast-paced, early-stage or high-growth environment.
• Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Sales Engineering, and Customer Success.
• Exceptional communication skills for articulating complex technical concepts clearly.
• High level of ownership, humility, and a proactive approach to engaging with customers, deals, and team development.
• Nice to have: experience in selling developer tools, infrastructure software, observability, data platforms, ML/AI tooling, or open-source commercial products.
• Nice to have: familiarity with LLMs, AI agents, RAG, observability, evaluations, or modern AI application development.
• Nice to have: experience with MEDDIC, MEDDPICC, Command of the Message, or similar methodologies.
• Nice to have: success in selling to digital-native and large enterprise accounts.
