This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +5 more states.
• Lead a successful commercial fuel sales team
• Drive consistent growth year-over-year across fuel, fleet, cardlock, and lubricant sales channels
• Develop and implement regional sales strategies that align with corporate growth goals
• Ensure the attainment of revenue, volume, margin, and retention objectives
• Monitor pipeline activities, forecasting, and key performance indicators
• Recruit, nurture, and retain top-tier sales talent
• Provide coaching, mentoring, and manage performance effectively
• Collaborate with sales managers and team members to eliminate obstacles and boost growth
• Support strategic customer acquisition efforts and partner with key clients and high-value accounts
• Lead initiatives for customer retention, cross-selling, and account expansion
• Serve as an escalation point for complex customer issues and business opportunities
• Aid in the expansion of commercial fueling, fleet card, cardlock, and lubricant programs
• Identify market opportunities and analyze competitive trends
• Work in conjunction with Marketing, Operations, Finance, and Product teams to bolster growth initiatives
• Formulate sales strategies that enhance profitability and market share
• Build relationships across internal teams and external partners
• Communicate business priorities and influence decisions through data analysis, market intelligence, and customer insights
• Represent World Fuel in a professional manner within the marketplace
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• 10+ years of sales leadership experience in a B2B setting
• Demonstrated success in leading sales teams responsible for revenue growth and customer retention
• Experience managing multiple sales professionals across a geographic area
• Strong commercial, financial, and strategic business understanding
• Exceptional coaching, leadership, and performance management abilities
• Preferred experience in fuel distribution, commercial fuels, cardlock networks, fleet fueling, lubricants, petroleum marketing, transportation, fleet services, industrial distribution, logistics, or energy
• Willingness to travel approximately 40–50% within assigned territory and to customer locations
