This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +2 more states.
• Build, lead, and expand a high-performing team of Enterprise Account Executives throughout the Southeast region.
• Formulate and implement a regional sales strategy aimed at surpassing revenue goals and ensuring a steady pipeline generation.
• Coach, mentor, and nurture AEs through every phase of the sales cycle to enhance overall team performance and execution.
• Personally participate in and assist in closing strategic, high-value enterprise agreements.
• Forge robust relationships with C-level executives and key stakeholders within targeted accounts.
• Collaborate across functions with Marketing, Sales Engineering, Customer Success, and Channel teams to promote alignment and drive revenue growth.
• Manage a disciplined sales process, including pipeline oversight, forecasting accuracy, and qualification methodologies (e.g., MEDDPICC).
• Cultivate and enhance relationships with channel partners and ecosystem players to expedite regional growth.
• Provide regular, data-driven insights and forecasts to executive leadership.
• Contribute to the development and refinement of Upwind’s go-to-market strategy based on customer and market feedback.
• Proven track record in leading and scaling Enterprise sales teams within rapidly growing SaaS or cybersecurity organizations.
• History of consistently surpassing regional or team revenue objectives.
• Strong background in selling to enterprise clients in Cloud / Security / DevOps sectors.
• Demonstrated capability to recruit, hire, and retain high-performing sales talent.
• Experience in managing complex, multi-threaded sales cycles and closing strategic agreements.
• In-depth knowledge of sales methodologies (e.g., MEDDPICC) and disciplined pipeline management practices.
• Strong executive presence with the ability to engage and influence C-level stakeholders.
• Data-driven mindset dedicated to maintaining forecasting accuracy and CRM cleanliness (SFDC).
• Highly collaborative, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, early-stage startup environment.
