This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead a cross-disciplinary service team comprising RPSMs, LCMs, Field Technicians, and Service Facilities to resolve 90% of customer inquiries without escalation.
• Engage with customers in person and through phone/email, while conducting regular customer meetings.
• Fulfill warranty commitments and spot Good Will opportunities.
• Monitor and modify manpower plans in response to customer workload and upcoming bids.
• Provide direct guidance and assistance to RPSMs, LCMs, and facility management.
• Create, develop, and share customer scorecards and performance metrics utilizing iWarranty.
• Identify, cultivate, and implement approved commercial opportunities.
• Prepare new service regions for customer onboarding, processes, personnel, metrics, and relationship management.
• Enhance customer and field-staff processes through iWarranty.
• Engage in new bid submissions alongside the Winnipeg team.
• Oversee RPSMs handling bus acceptance, warranty administration, product issue resolution, product data management, customer relations, and property oversight.
• Collaborate with CPM, Production, and Quality teams during production and acceptance phases.
• Maintain strong relationships with bus and parts sales teams.
• Partner with the Service Director and other Regional Directors to improve workload and processes.
• Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.
• Preferred qualifications include a degree or diploma in Engineering or Business.
• A minimum of a 2-year Technical College education or equivalent experience is required.
• Previous customer service experience is essential.
• At least 7 years of experience in transit or a related field is necessary.
• Must possess proficiency in all mechanical and electrical systems of transit vehicles.
• Strong analytical skills are required.
• Proficiency in MS Office software is essential.
• Must be self-driven and motivated.
• A focus on safety is critical.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are necessary.
• Ability to work independently without supervision is required.
• Travel is a requirement for this position.
