This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Drive sales revenue to meet designated sales quotas.
• Identify, profile, and manage both new and existing producers for insurance sales opportunities.
• Recruit new producers to enhance the business portfolio.
• Leverage internal resources to maximize team outcomes and collaborate with supporting teams to track and boost activities.
• Create an annual Business Plan aimed at achieving or surpassing sales quotas.
• Expand the book of business, accounts, and territory in accordance with strategic business objectives.
• Foster proactive sales relationships with producers through profiling, relationship cultivation, and broker-base enhancement.
• Consistently uphold monthly sales production metrics, build sales inventory, and fulfill the sales production framework.
• Maintain an effective mix of Permanent and Term business.
• Collaborate with Crump operations teams, including contracting, illustrations, case management, underwriting, and commissions, to facilitate policy issuance and placement.
• Stay informed about pertinent industry, legislative, and tax-related developments.
• Provide agents with feedback regarding product marketing, processing, and customer service concerns.
• Engage in proactive sales calls, visits, seminars, marketing campaigns, and outreach efforts.
• Keep precise CRM activity records.
• Present, conduct, and organize seminars for agents.
• Showcase technical selling expertise and product knowledge in life, annuity, long-term care, and disability offerings.
• Navigate cases from presale to placement by utilizing knowledge of the underwriting process.
• Must reside in Southern California.
• Strong interpersonal and written communication abilities.
• Capable of delivering excellent customer service to both internal and external clients.
• Proficient time management skills.
• Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks at once.
• Capability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Ability to operate in a self-directed manner.
• Experience using PCs in a Windows environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
• Skilled in analyzing problems and developing effective solutions.
• Ability to communicate with individuals across all organizational levels.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education, training, and relevant work experience.
• Outstanding prospecting, presentation, and conceptual selling skills.
• A minimum of four years of successful sales experience with life insurance products in the insurance sector.
• Demonstrated proficiency in creating strategic sales plans and consistently achieving or surpassing assigned quotas.
• Proven sales success in the insurance brokerage sector.
• Expert knowledge and experience in life products, complex case design, carrier limits/strengths, carrier selection, and advanced sales concepts.
• Demonstrated sales experience in recruiting new producers, developing a book of business, and converting existing relationships into increased revenue.
