This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maine, +2 more states.
• Create regional business strategies to meet and surpass sales objectives
• Prioritize business strategies by segmenting agents
• Evaluate changes in territory, trends, personnel shifts, and relationship necessities; adjust plans as needed
• Develop and execute regional segmentation initiatives in collaboration with the National Sales Manager
• Establish and nurture relationships with BGA clients and producers
• Act as the primary contact for resolving issues and escalate concerns when necessary
• Lead or coordinate training sessions, webcasts, and conference calls
• Schedule sales meetings and visits, create agendas, summarize next steps, and ensure follow-through
• Collaborate with the Internal Wholesaler on sales strategies, case management, and BGA requirements
• Oversee both informal and formal applications to optimize placement and output
• Keep organized records in the designated CRM
• Report on sales activities and production metrics
• Foster relationships with Marketing, Compliance, Underwriting, and Operations teams
• Stay informed about industry trends, underwriting regulations, advanced marketing strategies, and company offerings
• Work with Product Development, Competition & Research, and Advanced Sales teams
• Identify opportunities for value-added services and sales
• Uphold ethical standards and compliance within the region
• Manage the region effectively within budget constraints
• In-depth knowledge of Life Insurance products (Term, IUL, and WL)
• Understanding of Advanced Sales principles
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities
• Exceptional presentation and public speaking skills
• Excellent listening capabilities
• Proven initiative, leadership, problem-solving skills, and adaptability
• State Life & Health License required
• Bachelor’s Degree along with insurance designations (CLU and/or ChFC)
• FINRA Series 6 & 63 licenses or the ability to obtain them within 120 days of employment
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in life insurance sales
• Willingness to travel over 50%
