This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut.
• Drive the Company's sales of orthopedic surgical products by offering clinical and logistical expertise within hospitals and operating rooms.
• Independently oversee surgical cases while providing guidance and support to surgeons in both clinical and technical aspects.
• Act as the sole Company representative during surgeries, ensuring that all necessary equipment is available and functioning properly.
• Utilize independent judgment to troubleshoot and respond effectively to physician needs and customer inquiries.
• Manage hospital billing processes and facilitate the creation and closure of purchase orders.
• Communicate customer, procedural, and marketplace insights to sales, clinical, marketing, and strategic account teams.
• Prepare necessary sales reports and documentation as required.
• Offer consultation services for the Operating Room and Sterile Processing Department.
• Maintain, track, and deploy equipment and assets within the designated area.
• Ensure the availability of products and that promotional materials are kept in a presentable state.
• Verify that DePuy Synthes services and offerings adhere to quality standards.
• Transport instruments, implants, and equipment between sales representatives and hospitals.
• Provide support to assigned territories as needed, including travel within the U.S. or potential relocation within the designated geographic region.
• Bachelor’s Degree, Associate Degree, or Medical Certification (CST, PT, etc.) combined with a minimum of 2 years of professional experience, or at least 4 years of professional experience, or recent transition from Active Military Duty.
• Willingness to travel within the U.S. as required, which may include frequent overnight and/or weekend travel.
• Ability to live in or relocate to the geographic area assigned by the Company.
• Capability to work in a lab or operating room environment.
• Valid driver's license issued in the United States is required.
• Excellent interpersonal communication, influencing abilities, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills are essential.
• Proficiency in data analysis and superior problem-solving skills.
• Results-driven with strong prioritization skills.
• Ability to work independently and with autonomy.
• Experience in navigating a complex organizational and team structure.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail is a must.
• Proven ability to understand, interpret, communicate, and operate effectively in complex environments.
• Functional knowledge of human anatomy and physiology is required.
• Basic understanding of surgical procedures.
• Preferred strong technical product knowledge regarding surgical instruments, procedures, protocols, and solutions.
• If under 18, may require necessary working papers or documentation mandated by state law, along with parental consent for background checks.
